Ever since I was young, I’ve always enjoyed graffiti. I’ve never done graffiti in my life, or have any artistic skills at all, but I enjoy it. Maybe it was due to a combination of playing a lot of Jet Set Radio as a kid as well as seeing them when I was living around urban areas as a kid. Now do I condone the act of vandalism for the sake of graffiti….. Mmmmm legally can’t say. Basically, I love the free spirited nature of it and any game that can replicate graffiti is fine by me. Okage: The Shadow King, known in Japan as Me and Satan King, yes, really, was a PS2 RPG that was made by Zener Works Studios, a prefecture of Sony Interactive, who worked on such titles like…. Uh… Little Monsters? Anyone?...... They made games on the Vita… Wait, no, that’s worse. So yeah, Zener Works hasn’t exactly had much success with their games, with Okage being their best bet at anything, which sadly wasn’t much. When it comes to the series of Hidden Gems, I try to avoid talking about movie based video games, because that is a very easy thing to look for. How much people are going to go out of their way to look for a game that is made from the success of a film. They are always known to be cheaply made and only exist to get more money for the film it is based off of. But after playing this….
