A criticism that I am real tired of hearing about is, if something is so strange, and on the surface, makes no sense, the creator must be on drugs. No, you’re not thinking. You’re on drugs! Normal people don’t act that way! Just that people completely label things that are odd as “on drugs” is just so dumb and tiresome, and can’t see the true value in a story. So, open world games… Yeah. A problem I have with most of them is that they just make a big world and think that that will do, but the problem is that they are big worlds with nothing interesting to explore and nothing fun to do. Even something small can make going through the open world environment more fun. And a simple but very effective example of this is the game, Sleeping Dogs.
