"Well, let's go and kick their butt!" said Layla.

"Wait, if they really are witches, then, shouldn't we transform first?" suggested Flora.

"I agree with Flora, Winx Believix!" shouted Tecna.

Bloom could only fit in, "Not so loud!" before transforming. It was lucky they were in the deserted section of the mall, or else the light and sound would sure cause unnecessary attention.



"Let's go!" Musa said enthusiastically.

Stella smiled and waved her Solarian sceter. Stella blinked once and arrived at her destination.

What she saw was unexpected. Five girls - supergirls - in elegant outfits, was standing before her. The colors of their outfits were the same, turquoise and magenta.



"Are you sure they're witches?" Flora asked nervously.

"There is no negative energy detected," said Tecna.

"OK, maybe they are fairies, but they're evil! Well, at least, mean." said Stella. To their opponents, she said, "You have just got yourself into the worst mess you could ever get into."

"If they are fairies, than the are most likely in a fairy level higher than us," said Musa. "We haven't ever looked like that before!"

"We out-number them, so we still has a chance to win," said Stella.

"That depends on the level of magic they have achieved, if it's the next level, we'll beat them alright!"

"Girls, we've beat Valtor, and the Trix and the fairy hunters, surely this can't be worse," said Bloom.

"Are you going to introduce yourselves? or are you going to keep chit chatting?" the brunette shouted.

With a nod to the others, Stella stepped forward, "I am Princess Stella from Solaria, fairy of the sun and moon."

Flora stepped forward shyly, "Flora of Linphea, fairy of Nature."

Tecna stepped up, "I am the fairy of technology, Tecna."

"Musa, of Melody," Musa gave a brief nod. "Fairy of Music, duh!"

Layla stepped forward confidently, "I am Princess Layla of Andros, fairy of morphix. Feel free to regret challenging the Winx Club.

Bloom stayed where she was, but her voice was the loudest of all, and showed leadership. "I am Bloom, fairy of the Dragon Flame."

Stella was shocked to find that her opponents was not at all put off by the fact that Bloom was the keeper of the dragon flame.

"Are you deaf? This is the very keeper of the Dragon Flame, and you act like it's nothing. Well, in case you forgot, the Dragon Flame is what created the whole universe... except for Earth, which is a mystery about what created it."

"Well... we're not scared of the Dragon Flame, we've have the absolute power of the Elements, and of course, we are representatives for Kandrakar.

Stella frowned, "Where's that?" she asked Tecna quietly.

"Absolutely no idea," was the reply.

Stella bit her lip, but soon decided that the dragon flame probably created that too.

"So, who are you?" called Stella.

*-*-*-switching to W.i.t.c.h*-*-*

Irma stared, confused, a fire can create the whole world? well, that didn't create Kandrakar, that's for sure. W.i.t.c.h found out about the history of Kandrakar a few years ago. It was created by five nymphs, N'ghala, Tea, Oneide, Ebla, and Xin Jing.


That was when W.i.t.c.h wanted to try and have different elements, Irma - Fire, Taranee - Air, Hay Lin - Earth, Cornelia - Water. But, in the end, they all decided their own element was the best.

"Well, your fire didn't create the core of our power, and that's enough for us to beat you!" shouted Irma.

"I am Cornelia, Guardian of earth," said Cornelia. "This is Taranee, Empress of Fire, Hay Lin, Ruler of Air, and Irma-"

"I'm Irma, the Water Queen," Irma posed dramatically, before being elbowed by Cornelia.

"And I'm Will Vandom, I have the power over absolute energy," said Will.

"And also the power to unite us all!" added Hay Lin cheerfully.

"And the elements," said Taranee.

"And our friendship!" stated Irma.

Will smiled at her friends, as Cornelia opened her mouth for the next part of their introduction. "Together, we are W.i.t.c.h, Will, Irma, Taranee, Cornelia, Hay Lin."

Cornelia suddenly realised what she got herself into. If she lost this fight, she probably would die, or get kicked off Earth. Then, what's going to happen? But she and the others got ready, the thought slipped out of her mind.

W.i.t.c.h huddled together, thinking of a plan.

"One on one, or is it attacking all together?" asked Will.

"Together which is stronger," said Hay Lin. "Plus, they out number us."

"I agree with Hay Lin," said Cornelia.

"Anyone notice any weakness or strong points?" asked Will.

"That fairy of nature, Flory or something, she's very shy and nice, pretend you don't really want to do this, and then, attack her strong!" suggested Irma.

"But that's mean!" cried Taranee. "Anyway, I think we should be aware of that dragon keeper girl, they expected us to be afraid of her, so her power is probably really strong."

"I'll deal with that nature fairy," said Cornelia. "We've got similar powers."

"It's your advantage, but also your disadvantage!" said Hay Lin. "I'll leave that job with you, but be careful."

"Hay Lin, you have to block out the sound from Musa. Can you do that?" Will asked.

"Yep, I can!" said Hay Lin enthusiastically.

"I'll deal with the Dragon Flamer and the sun and moon fairy," said Taranee.

"Cornelia help you with defeating Bloom, after she finishes with Flora. And I'll deal with Tecna. I might be able to convince her gadgets to disobey her."

"Leaves me with the stubborn princess," said Irma. "But I wonder what Morphix is..."

"Wait, I thought we were fighting five versus six, not one on one!" said Cornelia, but then thought better of it. "Never mind, let's just do it like this."

"Are you ready for battle?" Stella - Cornelia was sure that's her name - asked. "We've been waiting for years!"

"Then let's start!" said Will, flying forward, launching herself at the pink haired girl. Tecna didn't not react quick enough and ended on the ground. Will dived down to Tecna and wham!. Will's stomach felt sick, why in all places, did Tecna have to hit her stomach?

"Ready for more?" Tecna challenged, getting herself into fighting position.

Will, without replying sent a pink energy light down at Tecna. Tecna shielded herself, turning the pink ray into green.


Will knew better than to wait for Tecna to attack. She sent another set of pink energy beam. Tecna groaned as it hit her stomach.

I guess stomach really is the best place to hit someone, Will thought. That second of distraction was enough for Tecna to shoot electricity bolts at Will.

Will dodged, and shot more energy beams at Tecna. Tecna shielded herself with "super prism".

"Tecno Shot!" screamed Tecna, and this time, Will's reflexes was not fast enough, and with a groan, she fell to the ground.

Tecna jumped on top of each other and they rolled around the ground as they punched and kicked.

Meanwhile, Hay Lin and Musa was having a fight that also had no advantage.

"Absolute Air!" shouted Hay Lin.


"Magical Echo!" Musa shouted back just as loud.

The air was absorbed into Musa's bubble shield and disappeared. The shield disappeared as Musa screamed an attack. Hay Lin dodged.

"Have you had enough yet?" asked Musa, giving Hay Lin a challenging look.

Hay Lin narrowed her eyes and striked. Musa took the shot and fell to the ground.

Hay Lin knew better than to pounce on her opponent like Will would. She quickly created a bubble of air and trapped Musa. Musa screamed as she banged the bubble, but it didn't break.

Musa looked thoughtful for a second and closed her eyes, suddenly the bubble burst with a bang.

Hay Lin eyed Musa for her next move, but then suddenly a pink bubble wrapped around her. Slowly it became transparent enough to see Irma trying her best to deal with Musa. Now she understood, this was Morphix, Layla had trapped her inside Morphix. She turned to see Layla behind her concentrating hard to harden the morphix. The colour was slowly coming back. Hay Lin thought fast.

She quickly called her power over air. She was going to get Layla's concentration away from the morphix. Then she would be able to break free.

Hay Lin knew what to do. She quickly turned some of the air outside into a strong wind. It blew at Layla whisking her around in the air. Then suddenly, the wind was gone. Unprepared for the sudden stop, Layla fell down, right on top of Musa.

With Irma's water power on the outside and Hay Lin's power over air on the inside, the Morphix bubble burst out.

Hay Lin smiled a grateful smiled at Irma, and was distracted as Musa and Layla shot a convergence attack.

"Watch out!" Irma screamed, pushing Hay Lin out of the way. But Irma, instead, was hit in the chest. "Ouch!" she groaned.

"Irma!" Hay Lin kneeled down at Irma, then growled at the two fairies hovering above.

"Get ready for a water tornado, you witches!" Irma yelled. Irma shot water at the two fairies as Hay Lin shot air. Together, they formed a water twister and it went after the two fairies.

Layla could just fit in, " We're fairies," before the tornado formed. "Seperate!" she screamed.

The twister slowly dissolved into nothingness as Irma chased Layla away from the others.

"There's no one to converge your power with now, and nowhere to escape my power over water," she said.

"I don't need anyone to beat someone like you!" retorted Layla. Irma frowned and squinted her eyes. "Is it just me, or when you can't think of anything to say, you squint your eyes?" Layla challenged.

"That's it!" Irma shot a blast of water at Layla. Layla shielded herself with her "Barrier!".


Irma's water bounced back from the shield and hit Irma. Irma tumbled in mid air, but recovered her balance, flapping her wings.

Irma scowled as Layla laughed, watching her struggle.

"I guess you need flying lessons, as well as lessons on dodging," Layla teased. Straightening quickly, she shouted, "Morphix Wave!"

Irma ducked as the morphix skimmed her hair. She squinted her eyes again. -Cornelia! Help!- she signaled.

Cornelia, without looking, pointed her hands at where Layla was. Green vines shot out from the ground and tangled around the Morphix fairy. It dragged her to the ground and stabilized her.

Irma smiled as she joined Cornelia in fighting Bloom. Cornelia had tangled Flora up just like they had planned. With Taranee's help, she made that the plants would burn as soon as she tries to escape.


Now, it was three against two, Taranee, Cornelia and Irma against Bloom and Stella.

"You block Stella's attack, and distract her, while I'll tangle her up!" Cornelia told Irma. Taranee and Bloom are playing with dangerous fire, it's best to keep out of the way."

With a nod, Irma feinted a attack. Stella put up a shield, and cursed to show her anger for falling for the trick.

Irma laughed as Cornelia created vines to stabilize Stella. Stella gasped and shot up the air. The vines followed her, and Stella flew around Irma. Cornelia scowled as Irma, instead of Stella, was tied up.

"Cornelia!" Irma screeched. Cornelia sighed, and waved her hand. The plant let go and disappeared.

Irma and Cornelia turned to Stella only to see all the winx together, ready to fight. Both Flora and Layla was free from her magic.

"The transportation scepter always works wonders, it's even better than zoomix!" commented Musa.

Cornelia didn't even stop to wonder what zoomix was, she narrowed her eyes and concentrated. Ready to get all the plants surrounding her to attack at the same time.

Her concentration was interrupted by a "Boom" as clouds of dust flew everywhere.

"Tomorrow, at eleven o'clock, we'll meet again. This is not finished!" Stella's voice came from all directions. But it didn't matter, it was clear that W.i.t.c.h had won the first battle, and the Winx have retreated.

"Guys, I don't know what you think, but a visit to grandma might solve a lot of questions, like what are they doing on Earth in the first place, and what's zoomix," said Hay Lin.

"I agree," said Cornelia, "but my grandma's here today, I've got to be home soon."

"How about tomorrow at nine? Then we'll have some time before the fight to talk." suggested Will.

"Yes, and tomorrow, we'll change tactics, and use our gift from Yan Lin as well," said Irma.

"Um.. girls, I've got this chilled feeling that the winx haven't used their full power yet," stammered Taranee. "We've got to be more careful."

"We will," assured Irma, "Plus, they haven't seen me use my tambourine yet!"

Stella scowled in anger as she walked into her hotel room. Her holiday on Earth was suppose to be relaxing, not humiliating.

"Girls, we have not lost, tomorrow, we give them all they have!" declared Bloom.
