Witchcraft Article: A Spell of Healing

Goddess of Healing let it begin,
Heal out and heal within.
Heal this Spirit,
Heal this skin.
Goddes of Healing let it begin.

Things you need:
7 grams of Sage(for healing)
1 pink carnation(for beauty)
100mL of water

Directions:

1. Burn the Sage and hove it over the area desired.
2. Give the carnation to the person and both of you imagine the wound or cut gone.
3. Put the burnt Sage in the water. And then put your hand in the mixure and then kiss your fingers.
4. Start rubbing the area while Chanting the spell three time.

(Keep doing this once a week until the night of the full moon.)

bri-marie Some questions to think about: -Which goddess of healing? What if you're uncomfortable working outside your pantheon, and your pantheon doesn't have a goddess of healing? What if you're not comfortable invoking the gods for magic anyway? Can this spell be done secular-ly? -Why does beauty need to be involved in this? -Why a carnation specifically? What if I personally find carnations ugly? Can I use any flower that I find pretty? What if I and the intended don't agree on a pretty flower? -What is the point of step 3? What do those actions do for the spell? -What is the significance of rubbing the area 3 times? Why not any other number? -When is this spell supposed to be done? One wee before the full moon? Two weeks? Three? Does it matter what day of the week it's done? Does it matter if it's done during the day or night? Is there a specific time of day/night it should be done? Is there a specific moon phase, ect?
