Death, death is a beautiful thing, it allows new beings to be born, death is needed and shall always be around... However there was one who tried to defy death, he said that it was not needed, that people could go on with out it, this mans name was Deluch ruler of a mighty kingdom off to the east. One of three greater kingdoms, but our story does not start there, no our story starts in another realm where everything is peaceful and death is accepted.

Beings of this realm know that death is a good thing, death paves way to new life, so why try to stop it? Maybe some people wish to live forever?...

Chapter 2
"Please! Please! Please!" I begged. My parents exchanged glances, then looked back at me.
"You want a lemur, Mana?" Mr. Walker asked.
"Yes! Please! I'll take really good care of her!" I pleaded.
"How much would it cost to take care of it?" Mrs. Walker asked.
"Well, they eat fruit, and not much because they're so small. Plus, this lemur was circus trained, so she shouldn't need anything special."
"What about health, and the veterinarians?"
"I'll turn 12 in a week, so I can babysit more often. I can use that money to pay for the vet's bill," I said, really having no idea. I just agreed to...

CHAPTER NINE:
On the drive back to my apartment, I cannot help but feel something is amiss. What it is, I don’t have a clue. As I continue the drive, I once more delve into my past…
CRYSTAL FALLS: 1850
I awaken an hour later, still in pain from the sun’s rays. I feel Perry’s dried blood on my face, and find myself disgusted at what I have done. I cannot believe the situation I’ve landed myself in. About ten minutes later, Perry returns to the cave. From where I do not care, or even want to know. I feel nothing but burning hatred and contempt for him. I still do not know what prevented...

CHAPTER SEVEN:
I return to my apartment, and turn off the police radio, which is only reporting the incident I was involved with earlier that night. I suddenly feel tired once again, and this shocks me. As I lay back on the couch, I continue thinking of Pike, and my first night of being a vampire.
CRYSTAL FALLS: 1850
I hesitate, and then follow Perry outside. Only moments ago, I found myself full of anger, yet at the same time, worry, although not for my own sake, but for my father’s, who is still asleep in the other room. For some odd reason, I am in pain, not from my wound, which has disappeared...

CHAPTER FOUR:
As I near the parking lot of Crystal Falls High School, my supersonic hearing picks up on hundreds of voices. As I pull into a parking space, I note how many people are already there. As I walk into the office, the ten minute warning bell rings. I walk up to the desk, and the secretary looks up at me. “Yes?” she asks. I quickly explain that I am new to the school, and that I am a senior. She looks up my name in the student records, and nods. “Ashley Garland. Age seventeen? Transferring from Santa Barbara?” she asks. I nod, and hear the hum of the printer as it prints out...

A shadowy figure silently brushed the silken curtains aside as she slipped through the open window and stepped into the dark chamber. Passing a small table and a bed, the fox quickly headed towards a cabinet that stood against the far wall.
Beaded necklaces hung above a oval mirror that was set in the center. Her eyes rested on a miniature strongbox half hidden behind the mirror.
Paying no heed to the deafening clatter coming from the oblivious guest downstairs, she skillfully picked the tiny lock and raised the lid. It was hard to tell what was what in the darkness, so she emptied it into...

My name is Annabelle. I am sixteen and I am beaten.

I lived with my dad and mom in that trailor park on the edge of town between the bar and the strip of stores everyone avoids. We lived happily until my mom, Mary, died in that car crash five years ago. My dad became depressed, drinking alcohol and gambling. He was soon unemployed, so to keep the trailor I had to drop out of school. He is now a deep alcoholic and gambles with his buddies every other day.

Whenever we run out of spirits he hits me. He keeps hitting me until I go to the bar nearby and get more. This happens every two days by his...

So, hi.
To those of you who don't know me, my name is Josephine. You can see me mostly hanging about the Heroes of Olympus spot.
I write mostly fanfic on fanpop (If you want to see my original work check out HousexofxNight on Quizilla), but my friend annabeth523 asked me to post this online so she could read it.

Basically put, this year, on the first of September, I turn sixteen. My goal is to have typed 100,000 words of a single story by then. I started typing on the 28th of December 2012 and I am just over 42,000 words in. I am now editing what I have written so far.

What you are about to read...

My breath came out in a white, frozen cloud before me and smelled heavily of my mint gum. My footsteps’ sounds were wet on the sidewalk. It had rained just before I left the bookstore and, just by my luck, someone stole my car (boy, was my dad going to have a cow when he hears that…), so I had to walk all the way home in the wet night, all by myself. I prayed silently that I would be able to find my way because I was new in town and barely knew where everything was. I had to use a crappy GPS to find the bookstore. I was just lucky I found it.
    The town was Cassidy....

Hiya! First stab at adding something I wrote to the writing spot. This is a cliche little story inspired by the Mayday Parade song "One Man Drinking Games." Comments would mean the world. (:

And you swore you saw me laughing, and I swore I saw you smile
And the time we've spent together was meant to last us quite a while
As I take this piece of you with me I'll carry to my grave
Knowing that for someone you're an angel sent to save

Scarlet's P.O.V

I woke up feeling the rough but smooth texture of my worn down bed. I looked around tiredly yawning getting up to change I got my things and headed out. The village was mostly quiet rarely its loud. Our village was very poor. I went in the woods we were banned from going in their. I went in anyways I went alone I had no buddies at all. I was in woods shooting some arrows It was like 98 degrees out I was sweating. Their was a ant on my arm I tapped and hit my hand and shacked it when water swooshed up. I curiously tried again I moved my arm up and the water rose up. I smiled in...

“I want to go home,” I groaned noisily, smacking my head onto the gray table my friends and I sat at. I was in my first period physics class with my group of friends. It was the second day of the school year and all looked as it had for the past three years.

Chris glanced over at me with dull blue eyes. “Yeah, well I do to, so shut up,” she replied with a grumpy sigh. No one was in a particularly good mood this time of morning, well Jeydon was, but that probably had something to do with the fact that she was used to getting up at the crack of dawn.

“Who pissed in your Cheerios this...

Chapter 1
October, 1964

I lied awake on my bed.

I couldn’t sleep.

My mind was wandering, racing to different topics at the same time. I couldn’t stay on one subject in my mind for more than ten seconds. I was restless.

Just then, out of nowhere, I remembered something that I particularly didn’t want to remember. But I did anyway. It was something that I hated thinking about, and something that I thought about all the time. I got up, clad in only a pair of jeans, and walked over to my closet and turned on the light. I pulled down old, dusty boxes and yellowed papers off of the closet’s shelf....

Vampire Knight is one of Viz's top-selling series, and it's not hard to see why: While it's not for everyone, the love triangle, supernatural romance, and hint of forbidden love are like catnip for some readers. The Art of Vampire Knight, released earlier this month by Viz, is a beautifully produced art book that will be pure heaven to Vampire Knight junkies (but probably a bit boring for everyone else).
The book collects the full-color art that manga-ka Matsuri Hino created for the chapter openings in LaLa magazine and the tankoubon covers. Some have been published as part of the English-language...

Very few people in the modern world obtain their food supply by hunting and gathering in the natural environment surrounding their homes. This method of harvesting from nature's provision is the oldest known subsistence strategy and has been pratised for at least 2 million years. It was, indeed, the only way to obtain food until rudimentary farming and the domestication of wild animals were introduced about 10 000 years ago.

Because hunter-gatherers have fared poorly in comparison with their agricultural cousins, their numbers have dwindled, and they have been forced to live in marginal environments,such...

Hi. My name is Jake Gartner, and right now, basically a huge mutant serpent is coming to swallow me whole, tear me to pieces of flesh, so I have no time to talk right now. Oh, um...you want to follow me? Sure, just accept that everyday will be the best of the thrills. Right now, we are not getting any help from the immortal world, so just know that we have a horrible system of magic right now, and we have an extremely low supply of weapons, thus, the chance that you will get out of this mess is around eighty-six percent. (because of me, the master of war) Oh yeah, the serpent. Enough talk. (ROARS) Off to kill a mutant serpent!!! (stabs, deflects, cuts a gash in its head, dies) That's only our first one, trainee. Whatever your name is. Next time, I invite you to join with us on our battle. And it will be even more life-consuming, if you know what that means.
Well..I guess I am not realy good at writing stories..but I love doing it so I guess I can post one short story here~~~

I knew nightmares pretty well. Those sick, little, messed-up dreams, which you can never forget. No matter how much you try they stuck in your head unwilling to set you free. But I guess, I'm used to that. I had nightmares since I was a little child and some of them more than once. After I reached the age of seven they became my second shadow. It was like I had an alter-ego. I became so intoverted that in the end people were afraid to touch...

When I first met him, I could not comprehend anything… why he was here, where he was from, what had happened to his eye… my name is Nora Fushigi, I am sixteen years old and I live with my little sister, Bloom, in a mansion in England. The year is 1940. World War II was going on then, so I called for Bloom to come live with me out in the country because I was worried about her in the big, huge city of London. When she got here, she was overly happy to see me. “Sissy,” she said, “I’m glad to see you again!” Bloom is only six years old, and she still needs to learn some proper manners,...

This is for all the kids who are bullied by words. My teachers always say be bleacher people. Lift others up. I hope this poem gives that message to others.

You yell at me
mean words.
They
pierce my heart.
I say its ok.
I move on.
But the words
still have power.
They still hurt
me.
My friends
tell me
its a big deal,
and that I
need to tell
a teacher.
But I say im fine.
Im really not.
I want to
believe
that im fine,
I want to
believe that
it was
nothing.
But it was
something.
Words always
have power.
Enough power to
strike me
down,
or lift
me up.
Why must
you hurt
me?
