This is the question i experienced through out the whole net no answer so I got a 75% votes on what happened, this is what happened:
during super mario world (stone age time) Yoshi was found in one of those ? boxes you get money or power but Luigi found Yoshi in those boxes, so Yoshi actually thinks Luigi is his mama, I think Luigi is CRAZY keeping Yoshi as his son. Anyway Yoshi didn't have Yoshi parents, but the votes were on Yoshi was born by a frog and a T-rex the rex was the mama but of course Yoshi never knew his parents he's in his egg his mama saw the big fiery ball that scientist say...
