Red Revenge had a theory for taking down the mayor. If he was indeed a Shadow, he would probably be heading to the morgue to destroy all evidence of the League of Shadow's involvement. So Revenge would wait there.

Alexa banged her fists on the wall of the jail cell in anger. She had tried to spread her molecules out and walk through the wall, but Batman had some special handcuffs on her prohibiting her powers.

As we walked through the halls of WayneTech, we exchanged nothing but silence. The previous predicament still left us shaking, and now we were out to search for more. It was obvious that Scarecrow knew of our presence, which is why he had the gas sprayed all over the building. Every now and then I heard rats squeaking, glass breaking, and spiders crawling, but none of them so much as gave me a start.
Oddly enough, Robin knew his way around the building. Without getting lost, we retrieved and destroyed much of the fear serums, but we weren't done unless we found Scarecrow.

Chapter Five-

Artemis ducked into an alleyway at the site of the police. They probably would recognize her, even here in Germany.

After the car was gone, Artemis headed back towards the cafe where she and Holly were supposed to meet.

Holly was waiting for her, sipping hot chocolate.

"What took you?" she asked as Artemis sat down.

Waking up by being thrown in a cage with my hands tied up wasn’t exactly the ideal way for me to wake up. I was laying on my side on the cold cage floor, and eventually squirmed my way up to leaning on the side of the age, sitting down. The room was dimly lit, but it was pretty easy to make out certain objects. In front of me there was a surgical table, a control board, and 7 different containment units. To my right were 2 other empty cages, and to my left was another cage. I screamed at the sight of what was in it, but then calmed down and sighed when I realized it was just Roy, still unconscious....
