Bonnie frowned into her cereal angry with life it's self. "Whats the matter?" Matthew asked as he bit into his toast "Momma's gonna have a baby they got back from the doctor yesterday said I was gonna have a little brother" Bonnie sighed "I don't see the problem" Matthew shrugged "Your a boy I wouldn't expect you to" she rolled her eyes.
"umm what's that suppose to mean?" he blinked confused at her sour mood "I don't want a little brother they have me they don't need another kid" she snapped "I sense worry in your voice" Matthew answered plainly "My first parents had a baby 3 months before they found me. They dumped me in the forest because they heard rumors about a wolf spirit that kills and eats anything that steps into the woods so they dumped me in the middle of it and high tailed it out" she shrugged her shoulders.
"turns out ma is the wolf spirit and she don't eat nor kill everyone" Bonnie shook her head "your worried that since your not their blood child they wont want you anymore" Matthew realized "I doubt they would do that" he tried to put her at ease. "Could still happen, happened once" she shuddered.
"Have you noticed Bonnie has been acting differently?" Amara asked Charm while she was reading. "Nope she seems fine to me" he chirped "I know it hurts honey but think really hard" she patted his head he sent her a look and before shrugging "I've been out and about so I don't know your home all day you should know" he reminded her.
She growled flashing canines at him angrily that he jumped back. Amara had been having lots of mood changes lately he blames the baby. "Chill Amara she's fine just adjusting I'm sure" he grinned before settling.
Last month of pregnancy
Amara disappeared only a towel was missing. Charm panicked fearing she had been taken from him again her and the baby. Bonnie feared for her mother but little concern for her baby brother was in her mind. Matthew was determined to stay neutral on the subject. Charm went towards the forest the first place to look for a missing wolf.
He was halfway through his search when it began to rain heavily and he had to track through mud. A howl echoed through the air and he fallowed it to a cave that glowed brightly. A big grey wolf sat at the den blinking at him before turning tail and walking away bowing it's head a little at him. "Are you another one?" he asked it perked it's ears shifting into a elderly woman. "my pack guarded the area well, we knew she was pregnant. You must be worried it is normal for a female wolf to go off in search of a birthplace away from the pack. She is asleep" and with that the woman turned into a wolf and ran off 3 others trailing behind her.
Turning into the cave he found his white wolf asleep her muzzle of a sleeping baby wrapped securely in a towel. Once he was close her eyes snapped open jumping to her feet she snarled "Woah Amara it's me charm" he reminded her she stopped growling and shifted. The baby began to cry loudly she scooped him up in her arms rocking him "Shhh hush" she smiled pressing her face against his inhaling his scent.
"Could have told we you were gonna run off" he scolded her blue eyes fixed on him "Didn't know it was going to happen" she smiled crookedly at him "My kind has a new wolf" she nuzzled his face again. The baby giggled clawing at her hair. "I want to name him" Charm piped up "Then hurry up and name him" she smiled "Alfred his name shall be Alfred Noelle Von Wolfstadt " he grinned she rolled her eyes "You and long names" she sighed.
"Don't here you complaining. come on lets go" Charm through his jacket over Alfred as the trudged home. "Bonnie!" Charm called Bonnie came around the corner slowly her face drooping a little when she saw the bundle of cloth. "Your brother Alfred" Amara lowered her arms to her daughter who just glared at the boy.
"Can me and Matthew go and play in the rain?" she asked "Sure just don't get sick" Amara smiled at her daughter but her gaze quickly returned to the baby in her arms. She could smell the wolf in him mixed in with the smell of a baby was the smile of forest and water.
Bonnie splashed into another puddle "I hate him already!" she snapped angrily. "He's just a baby you should give him a chance" Matthew tried to reason "Maybe we'll see just how this goes." she narrowed her eyes.
Nero (or Charm) held Alfred close to his chest while he slept the little hands clutching the fabric of his shirt. Amera had gone out to make sure her territory was still safe and no wolf pack had settled there before they moved back. Amara may love San Diego but she worked hard for that territory.
Bonnie glared from around the corner worry gnawing at her gut. She was so not being unreasonable she was afraid her mother would abondon her, she read online that sometimes wolves will not accept a pup that is not theirs when they have a litter. her father was focused on protecting the baby so much that if something were to happen she was afraid they would forget about her.
3 YEARS LATER
13 year old Bonnie had successfully ditched her brother Alfred. She had been trying to read her book and listen to the ipod she had gotten for her birthday but no! Alfred kept asking her to play with him or get something for him once he tried to naw on her fingers! She had finally been able to ditch him outside in their home. Having grown up in the forest she was found in she had navigated better and climbed the tallest tree she could find.
So now Alfred was wandering the forest alone. Daddy was sleeping and mommy was no were to be found. Big sister ran away! He pouted as he picked up a stick and poked the ground. he was 3 years old and just managed to run around the woods. His mother would hover relentless watching for any signs of danger never letting him go to far. But big sister had gone outside the limits so he fallowed her were she disappeared.
He wanted to run around and play already he could smell things really good. Mommy said he had special blood that allowed him to do amazing things. She said she could do it to and that she would train him once he gets older. He wanted to be able to do it so badly but he didn't know what. Suddenly his bones began to crack and change. it didn't hurt but it was enough to startle him. He began to cry as he felt his body grow smaller and different.
He looked at his feet they were round and covered in black fur. He toddled over to a stream "I'm a puppy!" the bus 12 feet away rustled a growl filled the air and a large cat climbed out "Big kitty can go away now!" he yelped loudly. It didn't just licked his lips danger ran through him and instinct kicked in he began to whine and cry loudly.
Amara looked up from the scent she was tracking there was a cougar in her territory and she wanted to find it. The whines reached her ears Alfred! howling her signal she turned tail and bounded towards the noise he was far away from the house. And it appeared he already had shifted much earlier than she expected him to perhaps it was her powers leaking into his that triggered it.
Looks like she found her cougar too. Growling she lept from her spot. The element of surprise was not on her side because of how little time she had grabbing it leg with her teeth she pulled back it tired to bite her but the thick skin of her coat wouldn't allow much damage. Going for the throat she bit it but couldn't hold on. Now fatal injured and with no way of winning the cougar backed down and left.
Amara knelt down and licked her sons fur "Mommy! Mommy! Mommy!" he responded picking her son up y the scruff she bounded back towards the house "Stay and think about have thumbs and regular hair again think about how daddy looks do not be frightened" she nuzzeled him shifting back to show him. He complied and Nero came out as soon as he burst into tears.
"That was scary!" he bawled clutching the shirt amara was wearing "Hush hush now" she picked him up rocking him a little "Your okay were is your sister" she asked "I don't know she left!" he cried "I'll find her" Nero smiled patting his son's head before leaving.
"Bonnie!?" he yelled walking through the trees before seeing her leg. Climbing up he tapped hr shoulder. Turning she pulled her head phones down "You left your brother in the middle of the forest" he told her "He must have fallowed me" she shrugged. "I guess and accident is and accident. Your brother shifted you know scared him" he told her.
"Great" she rolled her eyes but on the inside she panicked her brother could shift now it was easy to see how she wasn't their actual child
