I flew back through the window, finding the team asleep on the floor.
"Guys?" I kneeled down beside Aqualad, and tapped him lightly.
He woke with a startle. "Jeannette? Did you catch Cheshire?"
I nodded. "Yeah, she's in jail now. Did you know...?" Should I tell them about the baby?
"What?"
"Never mind," I said quickly. "You guys could go home. I'll stay and patrol the city."
The rest of the team woke up and headed for the bioship, while I locked all the doors to the suite.
Before I flew out the window, I quickly latched it, drawing the curtains.
I knew I was tired, but I couldn't keep the image of Cheshire out of my head. I felt sick wondering who the father would be.
Ugh, you're worrying again, Jenny. It's none of your business whether Cheshire gets pregnant or not.
Shut up, subconscious.
Nothing was happening so far. Usually by this time, a bank alarm would ring, or police sirens would be heard.
Wow, I'm lucky today.
I was about to head home when I heard faint crying. I followed the sound, finding myself in a dark alley. A small black-haired little girl was crouched in a corner, sobbing.
"What's wrong?" I asked, coming up behind her.
She sniffed. "I-I can't find my mommy and daddy!"
Jenny, calm down. She looks nothing like Cheshire. She's just a random little girl who you happened to come upon. "Umm, why don't I take you to the police? They can help you find your parents."
She shook her head. "No, they won't help." She looked at me with shiny eyes. "Can you help me?"
"Of course, kiddo," I said, ignoring the fact that I was tired. "But if we can't find your parents by tomorrow, you're going to the cops, okay?"
She nodded. "Okay."
I lifted her up in my arms, then started flying. She cheered and flailed her arms about, not knowing I was a superhero.
By midnight, we had searched the entire city, but her parents were nowhere to be found.
I yawned, standing on the ground. "Look, I can't find your parents. Perhaps the police can..."
"NO!!" she wailed. "I want them NOW!!"
Dang, this girl has something against the cops... "Okay, but it's bedtime. We'll look for them tomorrow."
She nodded stiffly. "Fine."
Part of me wanted to wait until she fell asleep, so I could turn her in to the police, but the other half wanted to find out who her parents were.
Look what curiousity did to the cat...
I opened the door to my house, the little girl holding my hand tightly.
"Do you live alone?" she squeaked.
I shook my head. "No, with my dad and siblings. My dad's usually out on business trips, so he won't be here tonight."
I led her up the stairs, and into my room, where Anna snored on her side of the room.
"Who's that?" she whispered.
"That's my sister," I said loudly, not bothering to care about her sleeping. "And by the way, what's your name?"
"Lian."
"Just Lian?" I raised an eyebrow.
"Yep. Just Lian."
I set her on my bed and tucked her in. "Okay, you could sleep here. I'm going to share with my sister."
She was already asleep, when I headed out of the room.
I would never, ever, share a bed with Annaliese. Sharing a room was enough.
I opened the door to Vicky's room, seeing all of her black hair piled up on her pillow.
I sighed and pulled out the sleeping bag from under her bed.
This was going to be a long night.

WHEN I FIRST STARTED YOUNG JUSTICE ABOUT 5 YEARS AGO I STARTED TO WATCH SOME REVIEWS ON IT. THE NUMBER 1 THING THEY TALKED ABOUT IN ANY REVUEW VIDEO WAS THAT IN SEASON 1 ROBIN AND KID FLASH ARE DATING. THIS IS A HUGE MISTAKE! THEY ARE NOT GAY! INFACT THEY EACH ALREADY HAVE A GIRLFRIEND. KF HAS ARTEMIS AND ROB HAS ZANTANA. THEY ARE ONLY BEST FRIENDS NOT LESBIANS!!!! I MEAN SEROUSLY, IN WHAT EPISODE ARE THEY DATING? I JUST WANTED TO POINT THAT OUT.
IF YOU KNOW ANYONE WHO BELIEVES THIS NO SENSE PLEASE INFORM THEM THAT THEY ARE WRONG AND THAT THEY ARE ONLY FRUENDS.
I HOPE YOU ENJOYED! BYE!!!!
