Kaldur sat in his room on the floor. All the pictures and emblems of him and Jade sat scattered around him. Looking at them was both healing and painful. Never had he thought Jade would have to leave. It had been buried in the back of his mind but he had never acknowledged it. He had always pushed it away, caught up in the feeling of having Jade close. Bu now he had to come to terms that this was not a dream. Jade was leaving and she was just as broken as he was. A knock sounded at his door but he didn't answer. It opened and he looked up.
“Hey,” Becca said, shutting the door.
Kaldur didn't answer but she came closer and sat across from him on the other side of the circle. She picked up a picture of the pair, gently running her fingers over it.
“You know, Jade has never been good at relationships.”
Kaldur looked up to find her eyes on him.
“I do not understand.”
“Jade has had this thing where her relationships have all ended badly. She blames her work. But I blame this on myself.”
“Why do you blame yourself?”
“Because I've pushed her. Her last job was on a planet called Ariles. And she was in love with the prince there. I pushed her to admit her feelings to him. He loved her back. Six months later, he died.”
“How is this your fault?”
“I pushed her first love. I kinda pushed her second. If only I had stayed out of this! Why can't I just for once-”
Becca was cut off by a sudden ring. She pulled out her com link and a holographic image of Erin appeared.
“There you are! We need help! Please come help us!”
“What's wrong?”
“Another attack.”
“Ivy?”
“Nope. Doomsday.”
“Kay. I'll be there.”
Becca put the link back and looked at Kaldur.
“I obviously have to go. But I think you get the idea. Don't waste today thinking about Jade's leaving. Spend today...preparing for it. Have a few more moments with her. You'll never heal if you keep it bottled up. Take it from me.”
Kaldur suddenly hugged her and Becca was stunned even after he pulled away.
“Thank you, my friend. You are a true helper. Like always.”
“Hm. Like always, I wouldn't be a very good advisor. I hurt too many people.”
“Perhaps. But you always end up healing those who are hurting most.”

The New Adventures of Red Revenge
Episode One: Crimson Harvest
Prologue-
Sam tripped falling flat on his face in the mud. He stumbled up and continued running. Behind him he could hear the sound of a horse's hooves in hot pursuit and a cloak billowing through the grass.
"Pick up!" he whispered hoarsely into his microphone.
A rope leapt out at his ankles and tripped him.causing him to fall again. The grain in the field he was surrounded in clung to him. Sam rolled over to see Reaper's head blocking the crimson moon above. Reaper cocked a gun and pointed it at Sam's face.
"And now I finish it." he said, and pulled the trigger.
