You guys right about Julie, she did what she wanted not what was best for the story. I realized that when I was watching the special. She loved damon and elena and give them a happy ending while basically slapping the other fanbases in the face. She's not that great of a story teller. Posted over a year ago

Also, did you see the article in which JP and KW explain their original ending to the show (which they thought up in season two)? It's a MILLION times better! Both Salvatore bros sacrifice themselves for Elena, and find happiness together in sort of being her guardian angels and watching her live a normal human life with a normal human boy (perhaps Matt, which I would've been totally down with.) Goddammit, why couldn't THAT be the ending? over a year ago

Yeah I read that article, basically they had to go with elena and damon because nina left the show. If she hadn't they would've made elena choose. We might have gotten bamon if that had happened over a year ago

Damon, Stefan, and Elena. I think they did all died at the end, which kind of sucks. The way my finale would have went is they kill elena off and damon finds love after elena. He needed to let her go and start a new life, even if it wasn't going to be with bonnie. It started with her it should of ended with her. over a year ago

From the way the scene was shot, it looked as though she died first and then Damon.Her letting go of his hand and him disappearing and she goes to her peace. over a year ago

Omggggg!!! Did enzo really die?? I have not been watching but I just saw a clip and couldn't believe. I was not expecting that. I'm sorry but happy days are here again. After seeing this I think bonnie and damon in the series finale just might fine their way to each other. Posted over a year ago

Hehe, I was thinking the same thing! I mean, Enzo was alright, and Bonenzo was sweet (if rather cloying) at times, but I'm honestly glad he's dead 'cause that makes Bamon slightly more likely. :P over a year ago

If bonbon doesnt go dark willow on both their tooshies, its just the writers narrow repetitive hostilities towards anyone who isn't Ebenezer wanting happiness. Most importantly is Damons response, not just protecting his human brother, but protecting bonnie while doing. over a year ago
