I just recently became a American citizen! It feels so enlightening and significantly drastic, but it also oddly feels like nothing has changed at all. I suppose it just hasn't sunk in yet? I've been waiting for that moment for so, so long and suddenly they just summoned me and all I had to do was sign papers and say a pledge and it happens. It was so elementary but also so difficult.
