The Spotlight Series brings outstanding standup, sketch and musical comedy to late nights at The Second City. But for this special 2-night event, Judah takes the mainstage in prime time, with special guest Jon Dore, host of The Comedy Network’s The Jon Dore Show!
Judah Friedlander is a regular cast member on the Thursday night NBC hit comedy 30 Rock, co-starring with Tina Fey & Alec Baldwin. Judah’s been in over 20 movies including Meet the Parents, Zoolander, Date Movie, Wet Hot American Summer, Feast, Showtime, Duane Hopwood & American Splendor for which he was nominated for Best Supporting Actor at the Independent Spirit Awards. Judah’s countless TV appearances include VH1’s Best Week Ever, HBO’s Curb Your Enthusiasm, MTV’s Wonder Showzen, The Tonight Show, other late night talk shows & Comedy Central shows. Judah also starred as the Hug Guy in the classic Dave Matthews Band music video Everyday. With 18 years of stand-up experience, Judah is a comic’s comic and a crowd-pleaser. Ottawa-born comedian and host Jon Dore made a name for himself on the hottest program on Canadian TV, CTV's Canadian Idol, as the former wacky correspondent reporting on the pressures and excitement of the contest with his unique brand of humour. Shortly after, and much to the delight of his fans across the country, Jon was given his own show on The Comedy Network. The Jon Dore Television Show , will be returning for its second season this fall. Jon has also appeared on his own Comedy Now! special for CTV and The Comedy Network, and was featured on The A Channel's comedy special Toronto Laughs.
