Hello, everyone! Kelly here. This is an updated version of my previous list, "10 Random Facts About 80smusiclover1". I realized that the original version of this list is too short and simplistic, so I've decided to add more details. Anyways, let's get started.
1. I'm a stereotype-breaker. They say that a girl's favorite color is pink. Well, I've proven them wrong! Blue is my favorite color, and pink is actually my least favorite. I don't hate it, though. I also never liked or enjoyed playing with dolls, especially Barbie. My Little Pony is a better alternative to them, and they have more variety and character when it comes to the toys.
2. I have a mixed sense of humor. I can be dry and sarcastic, or goofy and witty. I really enjoy watching comedy movies and shows, particularly those with slapstick humor. However, I can't stand toilet humor and butt jokes at all. They are very gross and disgusting for my tastes.
3. My biggest pet peeves are hypocrisy, especially in Christianity, bullying, toxic people (People who have negative spirits and always try to put others down), and people who lack basic manners such as forgetting to say "Please" and "Thank You" and not covering their noses and mouths whenever they sneeze or cough. They totally get into my nerves. I also can't stand children who throw temper tantrums in public places. In fact, I've experienced that before while riding a jeepney. My mother was swindled by a Christian once, too.
4. My favorite travel collectables are fridge magnets. There's just something about them that makes them very unique keepsakes. They beautifully showcase the country, its symbols, and landmarks in whatever form they are in (Ceramic, rubber, photos, etc.). I've already collected so many of them throughout my years of travelling, and they are all proudly displayed in our refrigerators in both our Los Baños house and our condominium unit in Bonifacio Global City. They also make great gifts for your loved ones.
5. My favorite cuisines are Japanese, Italian, Thai, and Filipino. I'm also obsessed with potatoes and chocolate. I like milk chocolate the best, followed by dark chocolate and white chocolate. I have a fondness for spicy foods, too.
6. I've been a dog person all my life. I don't like cats at all. They are very terrifying and selfish creatures. My fear of them was fueled by a time when I got chased by a kitten once. Aside from dogs, my other favorite animals are horses, seals, dolphins, pandas, bears, lions, foxes, rabbits, elephants, and, even though they're not real, unicorns and pegasi (Pegasus). My other least favorite animals are snakes, rats, cockroaches, mosquitoes, and flies.
7. I sometimes get mistaken for a foreigner in my country despite the fact that I was born a Filipino. This is mostly because I don't look like a typical one at all. Some of my family's ancestors are actually Portuguese. I even acquired a couple of their physical features. I have clean, white skin, a tall nose, and friendly, happy eyes. Another interesting trait about me is that I tend to blend in with the locals and surroundings whenever I go to England, another country in Europe, or North America. I do speak Filipino, too. But not as much as I speak English. There were times when I got teased for this. However, I just let it slide and be myself in the end.
8. I tend to stay in the bathroom for more than five minutes. I don't really know why, but I just find it hard to get out. I also tend to feel lazy to get out of bed when it's raining. However, this is not without its downsides. Especially when I need to finish my school work. I do try to fight my own laziness, though.
9. I'm very skilled when it comes to playing games on the computer or on my tablet. As a matter of fact, I often get very high scores and even won multiplayer events. My favorite game genres are puzzle, adventure, and racing. For some reason, my reflexes in real life have also been improved because of this.
10. Last, but not least, I always put a star at the end of my signature. To me, this star represents my uniqueness and wonderful personality. It's also a symbol of my optimism and happy-go-lucky attitude.
I hope you enjoyed reading this list. If you didn't, please be respectful.
