Advice Question

School trouble - please help????

This is quite complicated so I'll try not to ramble!

Well, I'm bilingual (I can speak 2 languages), and last week I found out that my school isn't providing a course for my second language, Gaidhlig.

The course I want to do is being dropped in favour of the Learner's version, because more people want to take that course.
This is soo unfair because I have been studying Gaidhlig my whole life, only to be told I can't sit the exam I need!! Of course, I'm upset and frustrated and my parents are doing what they can to help me, but right now it looks like I only have 2 options. I can:

1)Stay at my current high school and sit the course through distance learning. This would involve video-conferencing and occasional visits from a tutor. This is not the best solution because me and the boy who want to sit the Gaidhlig course have conflicting timetables and it would be very dificult to arrange this.

2)I can move to a different school. There is one other school in my catchment area. However, moving to this school means I would have to stay away from home during the schoolweek, and I would also be moving to a school with 1000 pupils I don't know!! That is a pretty big leap, considering my current school has less than 200 pupils!

I need to pass this exam to go to the Gaidhlig College and sit a Media Course, like I want to do.

I'm so worried that I'll make the wrong decision, and muck up my education. I would really appreciate advice anyone has to offer.

Thank you so much :)

WOW! this is complicated! I don't have a straight answer but what I can say is that if you really want to do the course then you should go with the second choice! BUT you have to be ABSOLUTELY POSITIVE about that! if you think there is any possibility of you being miserable or something you don't want DON'T go, just take the online course. BUT remember don't go just to go, you have to REALLY want it! HOPE this helps!! :)
