Gia clutched the letter against her chest and laughed, her smile seemed to not want to wash away. Alex and Gia were recently practicing trapeze when she got her unexpected letter.
"What's so amazing?" Alex asked from behind her.
Gia turned around to face Alex. Still jumping up and down she answered "An old friend from Italy. I haven't seen him in forever. He's going to watch our circus Americano style!"
"Well technically it isn't Americano" Alex shrugged.
"It's nice to think of it as Americano though, he'll be here in two days" she squealed "this is so exciting!"
"What's his name? What is he like?" Alex asked, trying not to sound shaky, suspicious, or jelous.
"His name is Linguini" Gia giggled "he is nice and amazing. I admit I used to have a crush on him but that's over." Gia smiled and hugged Alex, then left to tell Vitali and Stephano.
Alex thought about their conversation and frowned. He went back to practicing trapeze, trying to forget what just happened, the hug in the back of his mind.
