Amy Juergens Article: A Good Idea?

On The Secret Life of the American Teenager Ricky was able to get custody of John only on weekends. I my self think that it is a bad idea for john to go with his father. I think Amy should have John all the time. Ricky wanted nothing to do with the baby before she had it. So why should he get to start seeing him now. Ben was there the whole pregnancy. But as we all can see Ben was a cheater. And he hurt Amy. I think John should be able to see his father but not untilled he's older. What do you think?

TeeFly No offense intended, so I hope this doesn't sound mean, but I completely disagree. Ricky has been an excellent father to John since he was born. He gives Amy money from his job to help out, he comes over and babysits/visits almost every night, and he just genuinely loves his son and spends time with him. He baby-proofed his entire apartment. And he goes out of his way to be there for Amy and John whenever he can. He always puts John first too. I think that Ricky has just as much of a right to see John as Amy does, and I was really glad when they decided he got him on weekends.
