I got sucked into maybe two or three years ago. I have a friend who is really into the Big Three and I felt like humoring her for once, so I borrowed the first boxset of Naruto fully expecting to hate it. But when I watched it, I was actually surprised by how much I liked it. So I kept with it and now I'm basically living vicariously through it. XD

Weird, I was sure naruto was the most popular manga up to date.

In all honesty I liked Naruto before Shippudan I think it lost plot after that.

Hm, the Overrated bar used to be much much smaller than the bar for people in favor of naruto but now it's catching up.

Used to like it. Now,it's just seriously overrated and Shippuden is just horrible.

I've actually never watched an entire episode of Naruto before. I live under a rock, so the only way I end up watching something is if I'm interested enough to look it up and check it out. I've just never been that interested in Naruto. I'm not really into ninjas, and on top of that, from clips I've seen, it tends to really overdramatize them, which doesn't exactly float my boat either.
