Because of her the reformation came about much earlier, she was a devote, sincere protestant. while henry kept the church of england pretty much like the roman catholic church, except where henry is the pope and the clergy could wed. she worked hard with thomas cromwell and thomas crammer in shaping their new church. But on the other side of the coin I can not forgive her actions towards Princess Mary. Because of her and henry's i feel princess mary's emotional growth was stunted, warped if you will. she went from beloved,spoiled heir to the throne to being seperated from her beloved mother and governess, her household cut to next to nothing, her one conculation the mass continously being threatened to being heard, even threatened with death if she did not sign the right of succession. but remember she did live on in her daughter elizabeth I.

Jessicatt Jane didn't deserve to die! She was a pawn of her family's ambitions, much like Anne Boleyn. They both lured Henry away from a wife, so you can't condemn one without condemning the other. Cromwell, in my opinion, was the one chiefly responsible for Anne's downfall, not Jane Seymour.
