I think it's the cheese that makes Dorritos taste good, but that's only my opinion.

The flavour they put on them! It usually includes MSG and that boosts the flavour a lot, and they put more flavour on corn chips (to cover the corn flavour) than what they do on potato chips, so they are covered in lots of yummy flavour (in addition to MSG, there is also salt, sugar, herbs and spices).
