Estaaaas I think it was all morgana's work, maybe she switched bodies with gwen, and then she goes to lance trying to tear arthur and gwen apart..

chngeyuratitude Gwen has a bracelet on when kissing Lance. I think it could be an enchantment. TPTB would be really stuff it up if it wasn't, and S3E13 would not exist especially since Gwen kissed Arthur twice without a thought of Lance, and I think that to please some people with the angst they decided to give it their own twist. As you will notice Gwen didn't have much of a reaction when Arthur ran into the room. I think the flowers are because she has been looking after Uther (maybe???)or when they had a little argument on the steps when he goes off to find Merlin (maybe???)

HumbleQueen Lancelot's face doesn't look right. Looks like he's in a daze. I can't really make out hers. There has been talk of something being wrong with Lancelot, you know. In an article it said Lancelot is not the real Lancelot but some folks think it means he not the same as in the legends. We shall see. I just hope and pray the writers do not flub this up. But I'm thinking it's ok.

BradAngeleyes Oooohh, is this in Arthur's bedchamber? I take it they must be already betrothed then. Also, he's wearing his white kissing shirt, the one he wore last time when comforting Gwen LOL!

sportyshuie Guys ... u know what ... i can never tire watching that beautiful, enchanting scene all over again and again, even if it means i may need to skip work tomorrow!! It's like i said, enchanting! Everything looks perfect to me ... yes!! And i just loved reading all these comments from all of you ... I am so proud to be in these group!!! I thought i was the only one rooting for the producers not to do the exact mistakes the writers in the books did, tear gwen from arthur and hand her over to Lancelot. But looks like i've got myself sisters in arms for this!! When i fisrt saw the lancelot/gwen scene, my heart sank as i said .. NO, not here in Merlin too!!! But after reading all of your comments, at least my heart resides in peace thinking it may be some sort of sorcery in action ... ARTHUR AND GWEN all the way guys!!! I agree with everything said above!!! AT least i came sleep in peace now ( or until Merlin airs!!)

EPaws Oh Sporty that was beautiful. Love! Love! Love this scene. My gut says it is an apology kiss. Just a feeling. He gave her them in lieu of an apology. I like the gentleness of it.

LostFreak I agree with sportyshuie. Arwen all the way! And, yes, i read somewhere that maybe Lance isn't the real Lance (really hoping that). AND i read at the same page that he will die(oh my gosh, yes, finally). Thayzee I agree Estaaaas, it's has Morgana/enchantment/sorcery written all over it... The flowers are just a token of his love and adoration for his true love Guinevere... I just love, love when he calls her name.... It's sexy and passionate.......

kbrand5333 I said this elsewhere, too: They make a big deal about Merlin being a FAMILY show. To me that says that Gwen will not cheat. They also have said that they've put an "interesting twist" on the whole love triangle part of the story. With that evidence in hand, I am totally on board with the idea of an enchantment. I agree that this looks to be Arthur apologizing for being jealous (even though it would be completely understandable -- he wouldn't have known at the time that they were enchanted). And if I'm being totally honest, the idea of Gwen cheating with Lance actually sickens me.

Nasty_Nat I love them so much, there,s no word to describe how love them. Like most of you, when i saw the kiss between gwen and Lancelot, I was really pissed. And said to myself, the writers are not going to take the french version route. After looking closely and saw the bracelet, I was so damn happy. She's with the man that she's suppose to with, Arthur.

Nasty_Nat I agree with EPaws, I also think that that kiss is apology kiss. Arthu can never be mad at Gwen for that long, lol.

Bonne-Bell Also if you look at the sequence of the scenes in the trailer, this kiss comes after the Lance and Gwen scene so it's probably a make up kiss. Or maybe it's the morning after the hand of eyes scene... *smirk*.
