Troy continued to have his way with her and she continued to cry out in pain and agony. He carved the word whore on her stomach as the door burst opened to reveal her uncle and a few others. “Help me please”, she begged. Her uncle grabbed Troy’s hair and pulled Troy off her. Sirius was angry at the fact that Caitlin had gotten hurt and his protective instinct took over him. He started to beat Troy up. Remus got her free from the handcuffs that chained her to the headboard. She looked around the room in fear as she saw her uncle deal with Troy in his own way. Remus reprimanded Sirius for trying to beat Troy senselessly up and reminded him that Caitlin needed him. Sirius slammed Troy into the wall and picked up Caitlin’s panties. He handed her the panties and offered her his blazer. Her dress was lying on the floor torn up so bad that she couldn‘t wear it. She took the blazer and put it on. Her fingers were trembling as they buttoned up the buttons of blazer. She put her panties back on and crawled over to her uncle. Her body was already bruised. Cuts were on different parts of her body. Tears were still falling down her face and she needed someone to comfort her. She was still scared out of her mind and was not sure who she should trust. She gripped onto her uncle as she sobbed into his neck and chest. Her body was trembling so badly.
Troy stood up and tried to charge towards Caitlin but he was grabbed by the back of his neck and held down by George and Remus. George looked at his girlfriend with worry in his eyes. His heart was breaking at the sight of his love sobbing brokenly into Sirius’s chest. He literally wanted to kill Troy but he knew that it was not going to help Caitlin so he held back his urge and glared coldly at his captive. “Fred go tell the other guests that the party is over and go find Troy’s family and tell them that I need to have a word with them about Troy”, Sirius barked. Fred nodded and rushed out of the room without saying another word. Sirius turned his attention back to his broken and hurt niece who was clinging onto him tightly and crying into his neck and chest. Sirius rubbed her back and tried to comfort her best that he could do.
The Capulets walked into the room. Mrs. Capulet rushed over to Caitlin and Sirius not even bothering to glance towards her son. Troy’s father walked over to Troy and pulled him up by his neck. He started yelling at Troy and threatening all sorts of torturous punishments on the boy. Mrs. Capulet put a hand on Caitlin’s back and Caitlin looked up from the safety of her uncle‘s neck. She looked so broken and hurt. Her eyes were bloodshot and tears were falling from her eyes. Some of the tears were dried on her skin. Her hair was tangled and sticking up in random directions. Her carefully prepared hairstyle from earlier in the evening had fallen apart. The bruises and marks from Troy’s abuse on her body stood out like a sore thumb. She had dried blood on her skin and more blood fell from her when Mrs. Capulet then said that she was going to make sure that Troy never got near Caitlin again. She then gave Caitlin a bunch of compliments and in a motherly fashion, she hugged Caitlin from behind. While this was happening, Caitlin responded naturally to the old mother. She relaxed into Mrs. Capulet’s arms knowing that she could trust the woman. Mrs. Capulet pulled away from Caitlin and angrily grabbed Troy by his arm and dragged him out of the room with the rest of the family following behind her. Caitlin went back to the warmth and safety of her uncle’s neck and chest. Sirius carried her out of the room and comforted her. George followed the two wanting to pull Caitlin into his arms and tell her that everything was going to be ok. However, Caitlin did not know whom she should trust and Troy’s words still remained inside of her head so she was not sure how many people she should let get close to her. Troy’s words and actions had pulled Caitlin back into her shell. She was putting her walls up and allowed herself to be guarded like she had after Sirius was arrested.
Once they reached Caitlin’s room Sirius gently laid his niece on her bed. Mrs. Weasley walked into the room and stood near Caitlin. He knelt down to her eye level and George stood at Caitlin’s other side. Sirius laid his hand against Caitlin’s mass of dark curly hair. He kissed her forehead sweetly. She did not flinch at his touch. George gently and cautiously put a hand on her shoulder. She let out a loud whimper and moved closer to her uncle. Her eyes were wide with fear and pain and a little bit of regret. She clings onto her uncle and she lets out a couple of whimpers and cries as the door bursts open to reveal the Daily Prophet. George stood up and yelled at the crowd of reporters as she got them out of the room. Sirius took care of Caitlin’s wounds with the help of Mrs. Weasley. Caitlin closed her eyes in pain as she allowed Mrs. Weasley and her uncle to clean her wounds.
Caitlin decided that she could kind of trust George but for how long could she trust him. She did not want another problem like the one she had with Troy. She knew that she loved George but she also knew that love sometimes wasn’t enough to keep a relationship going. She knew that she could trust her uncle, Remus, Ron, and Harry. She was traumatized from the recent events and it had shattered most of her trust in a lot of men that she had come to know over the years. She just wanted to feel like she was a person but sadly, that was not going to happen. She did not know that things were about to change.
