Ugh! I wrote a giant answer and then copied it just in case it was too long. Anyway, I found out that it was so I decided I'd link an article. I decided to link the question in the article, and then i realized my stupid mistake - I hadn't copied my answer on something else, so it was deleted. Here I go again!

5.) My fifth favorite character is Luna. I like how she has individuality. She's not afraid to be herself, no matter what everyone else says. People make fun of her, yet she doesn't have a big problem with it. That teaches us all that it's okay to be different rather then blending into the background with everyone else.

4.)Neville. I felt very sympathetic to him. He lived half of his life in confusion. He didn't have parents to support him because they didn't even know who he was. He got to see them knowing they'd never be healed. To me that's extremely sad to know your parents are alive, but you'll never be able to recieve their love in a parental kind of way. His grandmother was never good to him [pre-DH]. She constantly bothered him and said he'd never be like his father. She was strict, and most likely mean because Neville was scared of her. Everyone thought he was a squib because he did not have any magical talent what so ever. When he went to Hogwarts, he was weak, and was scared faster then everyone else. He sucked [mind my language] at Potions and Flying, which gave the Slytherins and Snape a good reason to act rude toward him. He had such a low self-esteem, and never really thought he was good at anything. I loved watching him devolp as a character from someone who was weak and freaked out by absolutley everything to someone who was strong and brave. It made me laugh when Harry was saying how it was weird to see Neville talk about getting crucio'd like it's nothing. :P

3.)Draco. You should know this already, and if you don't, look at my name. Many people have shallow reasons for liking him, which I certianly don't agree with. He has the whole rich bad-boy air, and people call Tom Felton hot. There's nothing else that anyone could love about him, right? *rolls eyes* The reason I liked him was because my heart ached to help him. I wanted him to realize that he's not as weak as everyone thinks. His parents, although they spoiled him, were not friendly or that loving. Just compare them to the Weasleys. They did give Draco things he wanted, but they never encouraged him or prasied him: "Good job for winning son!" = "You beat Potter." His parents were always putting him second next to the Dark Lord. In HBP, he was stressed out and full of anxiety. He sobbed because of his lonliness and confusion. Draco had lost so much confidence. He wanted to prove himself, but he even knew he couldn't do it - his parents knew as well. Yet, if he didn't do his task, he'd die as well as his family. It was horrible for him to go through that, knowing there was a HIGH chance of failure and death. But when the time came, Draco knew he didn't want this. He couldn't kill Dumbledore, he wasn't a murderer. Dumbledore praised him for his efforts because Draco's parents hadn't, which made me feel even more awful. He's a frightened, stressed out teen who has to kill someone he doesn't want to, and his parents have lost confidence in him. In DH, he was depressed, and he didn't even say if it was Hermione or Harry. I felt like crying for him and sharing his pain - he went through so much neglect that it tore my heart in two.

2.)Harry. Many people hated Harry, which I'm not sure why. They said he has anger problems, which bothered me. I think his reactions were normal, and it was reasonable for him to act the way he did. He went through so much loss and suffering, so I'm surprised he wasn't depressed by book three! Anyway, the reason I liked Harry was although he did not have parents to raise him and was abused by his relatives, he still was nice and friendly to people. He wasn't the brooding type. I loved how he was so brave and would do anything for his friends. I felt sad for him, too. He had the whole wizarding world counting on him. One small mistake would be terrible and most likely cause deaths. He was always worried about other people, even those he didn't really like. In the beginning, he was so innocent and I was about to cry when he said Hogwarts was his first home [he never had a place to belong before this] and last book, he knows what he is doing, yet he is still that small clueless child. He still trusted his friends, and Dumbledore, and didn't give up. *sigh*

1.)Dumbledore. I loved Dumbledore because he was wise and kind, but mainly because he lived his life in misery and lonliness. When he was younger, he faced so much torment, and part of the reason was him. In the future, I believe he feared himself. He didn't want to become that cruel monster he was before. It saddened me how he could never be happy or express himself to anyone without them fearing him. He was so brave and kind .. yet he limited and weak at the same time. He also loved Harry like a grandchild, yet he knew Harry would end up dying. He saw Harry .. every day. That would hurt immensely.

So, yeah!

So, here's how this whole becoming Biggerstaffs thing went down.

The very beginning was when I became Gemmy's mommy in early December, I think (it was page 788). It went like this:

AND GUESS WHAT? My aunt and uncle asked me to be godmother to their firstborn kid<3

GemonkDruid said:
So you're the new Sirius Black. :O

lucius_malloy said:
omg yes :D or alternately Harry...
but I'd rather be Sirius.

GemonkDruid said:
Nuuu, I'm Harry, coz I have a scar on my forehead.

lucius_malloy said:
Exactly.
