Lydia had not used her vacation days. Her boss said, "Use them or lose them." She chose to use them. She took a trip to Michigan. Her friends agreed to meet her there. As they were eating at the food court at the mall, Pattie asked, "Where's John?" Lydia said, "Unlike me, he used his vacation days. Someone has to look after Foxy anyway." She showed her friends a picture of John and Foxy together. Catherine said, "Aw! John's so good with Foxy!" Rebecca said, "I think you asked the right person." Gavin said, "Yes. You can tell he's a dog lover." Marie said, "Definitely." Pattie said, "I think you asked one of the best people possible." Lydia said, "It's only the best for my favorite dog." Catherine said, "He's your only dog." Lydia said, "All the more reason to be picky about who watches him." Just then, Lydia's ex and one of her former bullies walked by. They said hello to Lydia. She didn't want to cause a scene, so she said hello back. After they left, she said, "That girl beat me up in middle school. I don't know why Alan got with her." Lydia's friends hugged her. Catherine said, "Don't let it bother you." Lydia said, "You're right. Let's have some fun." As the friends were hanging out in one of the shops, Pattie noticed some vintage 1960s clothing and went to look. Several minutes later, Lydia heard Pattie crying for help. Lydia, Rebecca, Catherine, Marie, and Gavin rushed to Pattie to see what was wrong. Alan had Pattie pinned down. Lydia's former bully was about to beat Pattie. Lydia said, "Leave my best friend alone!" Lydia's former bully asked, "Why should we?" Catherine said, "Because she said so! That's why!" Rebecca said, "Let our friend go!" Lydia said, "If you want to beat up someone, do it to me." Lydia's former bully said, "I can't hurt an old friend." Lydia retorted, "Old friend my ass!" Just then, some cops arrested Alan and Lydia's former bully. Pattie ran to Lydia. The two of them embraced. Lydia asked, "Are you okay?" Pattie said, "I am now." Catherine asked, "Are you hurt?" Pattie said, "No, I'm not hurt." Rebecca said, "We're glad you're all right." Gavin nodded in agreement. Marie said, "I think we should go have fun elsewhere." Everyone agreed. Lydia said, "I have one last thing I want to tell my ex before we go." Pattie asked, "Are you going to tell him off?" Lydia said, "Yes." Catherine said, "I'll go with you. I wanna see this." Rebecca said, "We'll all go."

Hello, everyone. BingoPB here, or Kayla, as most of you know me. I know you were expecting a poem. Don't worry. There will be plenty of poems in the future. I have been inspired to write a fan fiction based on my relationship with Aston, my former boyfriend, and my dreams about Paul. Of course, there will be differences, because the story will be based on those things. The characters will have different names. I could have talked about this in messages, but it's easier to address everyone at once here. I am not sure what the title will be. I would appreciate some suggestions in the comments below. You can also tell me your opinions on this idea. Also, feel free to tell me what name you would like for the character based on you. I will start working on it once I have a title.
I remember the good times we had.
More than that, I remember,
The inner scar you gave me.
You left me to blame myself.
But I'm not at fault.
In the five years we were together,
I was nothing but patient with you.
If you were done with me,
You could've just said so.
I believe I made a mistake,
When I said I'd be your girlfriend.
You were my best friend,
And we ruined it with romance,
All because we wanted to fit in.
How could we have been so ignorant?
I know we made peace.
I'm glad we're friends now,
But that will never erase the scar,
The inner scar only I can see.
Someday I'll love someone else,
And he will erase my scar.
Only then will it fade away.

I had a dream one night.
I was leaving work to go home.
It was unusually cold for October.
I slipped on a patch of ice,
And fell in the parking lot.
There was no one with me,
Except my puppy, Snapper.
"I think I've broken my leg,"
I said to my puppy.
He let out a couple of barks,
That said, "Come on, Kayla! Get up!"
I managed to get to my feet.
Snapper and I made it home.
I heard a knock on my door.
I looked through the peephole.
It was Paul. I let him in.
He noticed my limp, and he asked,
"Are you all right, my love?"
I said, "I hurt my leg. I'll be fine."
He insisted that I rest.
I said, "But Snapper needs to go out."
He said, "I'll take him out."
Afterwards, Paul got me everything I needed.
He helped me tremendously.
My leg healed quickly,
And all was well again.
