Blue's Clues & You! is the third series in the Blue's Clues franchise. The second series, Blue's Room, was a spin-off of the original series, so it took place in the same continuity. However, it's been very hard to tell if Blue's Clues & You! takes place in that continuity. A lot of the show's aspects seem to indicate that it's a reboot, but other aspects make the show look like a sequel.

Reasons why Blue's Clues & You! could be a considered a reboot:

Blue and Magenta appear to be the same age that they were in the original series. The talking objects, except for Paprika and Cinnamon, seem to be the same age that they were in the original series, too.

Several episodes are word-for-word remakes of episodes from the original series. That means that several events from the original series, such as Magenta getting glasses and Periwinkle moving to the neighborhood, are repeated.

Blue's younger brother, Sprinkles, doesn't appear. If this show took place in the same continuity as the original series, it's odd that Blue wouldn't be looking after her brother. A scene in Blue's Big Musical Movie implies that Sprinkles is now a critic. However, if Sprinkles is Blue's younger brother in this show's continuity, it doesn't make sense that he's never brought up in the series.

There are references to Blue's Room in the new series, but Blue having a room where she can walk and talk like a human is never brought up. If the new series takes place in the same continuity as the original series and Blue's Room, it's odd that Blue is never shown going to her room.

Reasons why Blue's Clues & You! could be a considered a sequel:

Paprika and Cinnamon have both aged. Paprika, who was a kid in the last season of the original series, is a teenager in the new series. Cinnamon, who was a toddler, is now a kid.

Steve and Joe have also aged and have gotten jobs. Also, the fact that they used to play Blue's Clues is brought up. In fact, the first episode of the new series has Steve and Joe teaching Josh how to play Blue's Clues. Steve and Joe's appearances tend to have lots of hints that the new series is a sequel that takes place years after the original series rather than being in a new continuity.

In the first episode of the original series, it's established that Josh has never played Blue's Clues before. Since Blue always leaves clues to find, Josh must have not been living at the house for very long. That would imply that the new series takes place shortly after Joe moved out to run the Present Store.

So, is Blue's Clues & You! a reboot or a sequel? That's hard to answer, because the show remakes stories from the original series but it also references the original series in a way that suggests that it's canon to the new series.

There are two possibilities:

One possibility is that Blue's Clues & You! takes place in a new continuity where Steve and Joe happen to be Blue's former guardians.

The other possibility is that Blue's Clues & You! takes place in the same continuity as the original series, but for unknown reasons, events from the original series are being repeated.

The time has come to celebrate the birthday of somebody very important to me. This person is very important to me. Technically, I've never met this person in person, but I feel like I have. This person did such a great job of making a bond with the fans that I feel like I've spent lots of time with this person and became friends with this person.

I'm referring to Steven Burns, best known as Steve. Steve was the very first person to host Blue's Clues. Steve has turned fifty. Steve was in his early twenties when he started hosting Blue's Clues. After all these years, he's still an important part...

Blue's Clues is a franchise that tends to mostly focus on the hosts, Blue, Magenta, Periwinkle and the various talking objects in the house. However, there have been times where some guests showed up. For this article, I'll be listing off some of the special guests from the original series and the reboot.

From the original Blue's Clues series:

Guests from the episode "Blue's Big Holiday" include Lisa Datz, Tyrese Gibson and Wynonna. Each of them plays the owner of one of Steve and Blue's friends.

Golden Girls cast member Rue McClanahan played Steve's grandmother in one episode.

Marlee Matlin guest-starred...

Blue's Big Musical Movie is the first Blue's Clues film. It was released on home video in 2000 and premiered on television in 2002.

The film was made during the time of the original series, so the film has the same cast as the original series. It was made while Steven Burns was still the host, so Steve is the host of the film. Donovan Patton hadn't been hired yet, so Joe doesn't appear in the film.

Steve is the only one of the human hosts to appear in both Blue's Clues films. He was the protagonist of Blue's Big Musical Movie and a supporting player in Blue's Big City Adventure.

The film is notable...

When I was little, one of the first things that I was a fan of was Blue's Clues. Blue's Clue's was an educational show that aired on Nickelodeon. The show was hosted by Steven Burns, better known as Steve. Steve was a young man that loved to solve mysteries. His dog, Blue, would leave three clues in each episode. With the help of the audience, Steve would find Blue's clues.

Blue's Clues was meant for young kids, so it was a show that I quickly grew out of. However, as time went on, my interests in shows changed. I often gave myself self-pressure to watch shows that were considered the types...

In my previous Blue's Clues article, I mentioned how Steven Burns's Steve passed the hosting torch down to Donovan Patton's Joe in 2002. This helped ensure that the Blue's Clues series would continue even after Steve was no longer a part of the show. Steve served as the host of the first four seasons and the original movie. His time as host started in 1996 and ended in 2002. Joe served as the host of the fifth and sixth seasons. His time as host started in 2002 and ended in 2006. Joe also appeared in Blue's Room. That series began in 2004 and ended in 2007.

After the original series and Blue's...

For the 25th anniversary of Blue Clues, Steven Burns made a video for the fans. In the video, he talked about what he had been up to since he left the series. He also expressed his eternal gratitude to the fans for all the help that they have given him over the years. Steve's video is one of my personal favorite videos of all time. In order to thank Steve, I'd like to share a message of my own that's inspired by his message.

My message for Steve:

Hi, Steve. Do you remember how when I was little, I would watch you and Blue? Back then, I was just learning to walk and talk, so my memories might...

Comparing the first television Batman to the original host of Blue's Clues might sound like a strange comparison, but I believe that Adam West and Steven Burns actually have a lot in common.

In 1966, Adam West made Batman a heroic role-model and symbol of hope for television viewers. Adam West struck the perfect balance between genuine heart and campy absurdity. In addition to being the funniest Batman, he was also the most likable and sweet. After starring as Batman in three seasons of television and one theatrical movie, Adam West struggled to get work. However, he meant so much to the people...

There have been a lot of actors that have played Batman. However, out of the live-action portrayals of Batman, only one of them has been family friendly. Adam West was the one Batman that was appropriate for kids to watch. Although the darker versions of Batman have some good qualities, I believe it's time that we had another Batman for families.

Finding the right actor to play Batman is no easy task. He has been played by more actors than any other superhero. I have thought about several people that I believe could play the role.

In order to figure out the right person to play Batman, I believe...
