I want a new book to read, something like Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins.

I suggest Cecilia Dart-Thornton (The Bitterbynde Trilogy), she's an amazing writer :P

Have you tried the Mortal Instruments by Cassandra Clare?? It's got all the action and sexual tension like in Hunger Games.
The series are in this order:
1) City of Bones
2) City of Ashes
3) City of Glass

Try "Eon" by Alison Goodman & "Little Brother" by Cory Doctorow. Both books came out around the same time as "Hunger Games". "Eon" will be a series and is fantasy based; "Little Brother" is set in a dystopian future, like "Hunger Games".
