This is an anti-LP article so if you're an LP fan, get a clue. GTFO of our spot and don't rate this low. I am entitled to my opinion and you shouldn't rate this low just because you disagree with me. Now if you're gonna rate this low, at least have the courage to comment or you'd just be like any other losers I know. I came up with this in like an hour and these were the only ones on top of my head at that moment. Suggestions are welcome. Now go on reading! :)
1) Cheating shows the intensity of your love for another.
Season 1: If your love is so intense, why choose to be with another when you could have the love of your life now?
Season 5: If your love is so intense, why propose to your current girlfriend after cheating with the love of your life?
I've said this over and over and I just don't get how one can say that cheating is about love. Cheating is wrong, no matter what. Even concubinage is a crime punishable by law. IMO, the best way to show your love for another is be with him/her. While Lucas chose to cheat with Peyton, he chose to be with Brooke and Lindsey. Some LP fans say that one thing they loved about LP is that they're ready to go that far while in my opnion, you don't need to go that far. This is a dig at both Lucas and Peyton. In my opinion, cheating is just low and I wouldn't want that for my couple. LP tainted love's greatness with their cheating. *in comes my fondness of Peyton..* Nobody deserves to be cheated on, even to be cheated with, especially for romantic reasons.
2) There's only one kind of love, it's the kind of love Whitey and Camila has.. and apparently, Lucas and Peyton, too..
I don't know how to begin expounding on this. The BL break up was a big WTF moment for me. And people telling me that they've had closure due to 4x08, meh, I just don't see it. Back on topic. This is just so lame. I love Brucas for who they are, for who they they are as a couple and for what they've become as individuals. They have their own flavor - sweet and spicy - never bland. They have fire and passion but maintain a certain coolness in their relationship. All I'm trying to say is (I'm crazy about your son and I hope that's enough for you.. jk) Brucas is a unique love story and their love isn't any less just because they don't have the love that Whitey and Camila had.
3) Evidence isn't important.
I caught OTH last Tuesday on TV and it was the episode where Lucas told Jamie that Keith used to tease him about Peyton.. my jaw dropped. How the hell did that happen? Then I realized, everything about LP is on the script, everything is either Lucas' or Peyton's line. Everything about them is because someone said so - The Comet, 4x09 speech, the whole s6, lol. Nothing is supported by a scene at all!
