Isabel was sitting at the bar of the local pub, trying to get some information.
“Can I get the usual, Neil?” she asked casual. Neil prepared a coke zero and gave it to her. “Hey, I heard a few nasty things went down here. Could you tell me a little more about it?”
“Not here” Neil corrected her. “Outside”
“I heard some of you regulars were murdered. Does the police have any suspects?” Isabel asked, pretending to be just curious.
“Yeah” Neil said obvious. “A lot of my customers saw him provoking them here. They went after him and didn’t return. Need I say more?”
“Who are you talking about?” Isabel asked, now eager to know.
“I don’t know his name, it’s such an odd one” Neil mumbled as he looked under his bar. He found the newspaper and held it up so Isabel could read the front page.
Part of her wanted to rejoice. Something was up with this guy and this time he wouldn’t get away with it.
But another part told her not to be premature. She had accused Cas of many things and he turned out to be innocent each time.
However, one thing’s for sure. Cas was in the middle of something really horrifying and Isabel wouldn’t be Isabel if she decided to watch at the side line.
“Can you believe this?” Dean exclaimed furious. “That’s what? The third time he stole my baby? What is wrong with him?”
He and Sam were walking down the street and while Dean kept ranting on about how Cas was abusing his car, Sam remained rather quiet.
“What’s up with you?” Dean asked when he paused his venting for a moment.
“You didn’t go into that basement” Sam said dark.
“Why? What was there?” Dean demanded to know.
“Two men. Dead. One of them tortured and eaten by rats” Sam answered. “The other one stabbed to death”
Dean sighed and looked around to make...

Meg had stayed behind in the hospital after Jo had advised her to get a checkup. She wasn’t injured like Cas, but she had still been in ice cold water and she had been in contact with electricity. So, a checkup wouldn’t hurt.
The doctor draw some blood.
“How long have you been feeling sick?” he asked.
“Since now, really” Meg answered in full honesty. “One moment I’m feeling fine, the next I’m running off to the bathroom, puking my guts out”
“Do you get stressed easy?” the doctor asked.
“No” Meg responded. “I don’t know. I’m not really familiar with emotions”...

Evening fell and the gang was having dinner. They had agreed to stay in the motel. While Jo and Dean had had their private conversation, Sam and Cas had been looking for takeaway Chinese. It wasn’t what Dean would’ve chosen.
“This tastes weird” he complained.
“That’s because you’re only used to cheeseburgers” Cas said dead serious. “You need to eat more different kinds of food or you’ll burnout”
They all stared at him.
“I read that in a magazine” Cas said, while his cheeks turned red.
“Well, thanks, doc” Dean said sarcastic. “I’ll try keep it in mind”
He swallowed...

Daphne was baking pancakes for Alexia. She shot constant looks at the clock, causing the pancake to burn.
“Damn it” she cursed. She threw the pancake in the garbage can and poured in new dough.
“Aunty Daphne? Where’s mommy?” Alexia asked.
“I don’t know” Daphne said nervous. Zoey had been gone all night and wouldn’t pick up her phone. Daphne wasn’t used to babysitting Alexia for that long and fact was that she wasn’t good at it. It was a good thing Alexia was very independent for her age.
The door opened and Daphne looked up. Zoey appeared in the doorway and she looked...

“It was me” Meg said. Sam had freed her from her prison and now she was going to free Cas of his. She had to promise Sam she wouldn’t try to get out until they were far gone. Because as soon as soon as Cas was out they were going to hit the road an drive as far away as possible.
“I killed Jack and I killed Paul Morgan. Cas has nothing to do with it. I was trying to protect him. Jack was asking too many questions and Paul knew too much already. There were people trying to hurt Cas and I tried to give him a low profile. But it didn’t really work out. I don’t want a lawyer. I don’t want a trial. Just give me the maximum penalty and I’ll accept it”
Isabel stared at her, a little puzzled, but also thrilled. She got Jack and Paul’s killer. Now no one would question her competence as an inspector again. She cuffed Meg’s hand and brought her to a cell.
He grabbed Daphne’s arm and dragged her to the sitting room. He pushed her down on the seat and tied her up. He looked around.
“Where do you keep your towels?” he asked. He needed something to cover her mouth. Daphne kept her mouth shut and the demon hit her. “Guess, I’ll have to go find them myself”
He walked through the house until he found the kitchen. He opened all drawers and found the towels. He picked out a dark blue one and walked back to the sitting room. He walked behind Daphne and tied the towel around her cheeks.
“Hey, I saw you made breakfast. You wouldn’t mind,...

Daphne was sitting on her bed, staring at the front page of the newspaper. She had wanted to give Meg the benefit of the doubt, since she knew Cas had a thing for her. But if she was a murderer Daphne had to keep her away from him. And in order to do that…
But how was she going to accomplish that? The security system was very…secure. She looked down. Maybe her bandage could be of use. No, that would be crazy. Although.
She took of her hospital shirt and pinched her fingers underneath the bandage. Then she unrolled the bandage and cringed when she pulled off the last bit.
She heard a weird...

The next morning.
Daphne’s upper body and arms were taped in with bandage, so she couldn’t move very well. She opened her eyes and when she saw her wrapped body her breath went faster and irregular. She tried to pull the bandages off, but they were too tight.
The door opened and Cas and Zoey ran towards her.
“No, don’t take it off, Daphne” Zoey said, as she grabbed Daphne’s hands.
“What happened? Why am I here?” she said panicking. Zoey and Cas traded a quick glance. “You don’t remember?” Zoey asked. Daphne shook her head. “You cut yourself, all over your body” Zoey...

As soon as Meg opened the door Cas came rushing in. Meg’s eyes widened and she shut the door. “Hello to you, too” she mumbled and she walked into the living room, where Cas was sitting on the couch. He was staring in front of him. Meg walked towards him and sat down.
“What are you doing here?”
Cas didn’t answer. He was trying to keep his breathing under control.
“What happened?” Meg asked. “Is Daphne still angry about me being there? I can go there and tell her what happened”
Cas still didn’t answer.
“I made her unhappy” he eventually said.
“How do you mean?” Meg...

Dean and Jo were sitting in a restaurant. Jo had convinced Dean to go out so that he could take his mind of Cas and whatever it was that kept making him ill.
“You look pretty” Dean said, with a faint smile.
“I didn’t even change my outfit” Jo answered cynical.
Dean looked down and Jo recognized his expression.
“Are you texting?” she asked upset.
“What?” Dean said quick. “No, no, I was…I was checking time…”
“why? You bored?” Jo asked offended.
“No!” Dean denied firm. “I just…I don’t want to leave Cas alone for too long. He’s sick and I’m afraid that...

Cas was sitting up in his hospital bed. There was a bandage around his neck and his hands and feet were bandaged. Dean, Sam, Jo and Meg were sitting around the bed.
“This picture is starting to get too familiar” Cas said grumpy. He lifted up his hand and tried to scratch his neck, but didn’t really succeed.
Meg took his hand and cast him an approaching look.
“What? It itches. You didn’t get stabbed by a piece of a mirror” Cas muttered.
“Don’t be such a baby” Meg reproached him.
“I almost died in that maze” Cas defended himself upset.
“So did I, but you don’t hear me complaining”...

Heather unlocked the door and looked at Meg who had been leaning against the door in an attempt to hear what they were doing.
“Did Cas throw up?” she asked, trying to sound casual.
“Yeah” Heather answered. “I’m going to need you to clean it up”
“Do I look like a maid to you?” Meg commented offended.
“Of course not, sweetie” Heather smiled weak and she caressed Meg’s cheek. “A maid I would pay. Now, come on, be a doll” And she walked back into the room.
When Meg came back with a mob Heather had taken off her T-shirt and as Meg walked to the vomit spot Heather crawled...

Cas scribbled up and walked to the bed where he sat down. Meg walked to him and also sat down. “Let me see” she said soft and she reached for the buttons on his shirt, but Cas pulled away.
“It’s just a scratch” he objected.
“Don’t be ridiculous” Meg replied and she opened the buttons. She shoved the shirt over his shoulders and then went sitting behind him so she could take a good look at the wound. “It’s not that deep. I think I can stitch it myself” She stood from the bed and looked around. “If I were a needle and a thread, where would I be?” She took a deep breath....

Sam held the door of the hospital open, while Cas carried the unconscious Dean inside. Before they could call for help an emergency doctor rushed to them and called for a stretcher. A male nurse rode a stretcher to them and Cas lay Dean down on it. As the doctor drove to the emergency room, she asked what happened.
“He’s been shot” Cas quickly answered.
“What’s his blood type?” the doctor needed to know. Sam answered and the doctor drove the stretcher into the emergency room. “Sorry, you have to wait outside” she said as she closed the doors, leaving Sam and Cas outside.
Sam ran...

The door of Meg’s motel room opened and Meg stared at the door way. She was still stuck under the Key of Solomon.
“Anna told me you were innocent for a change” Sam said.
“Well, now that you’ve discovered I’m actually a saint, could you get me out of here?” Meg suggested. Sam shook his head and walked towards her, though kept a safe distance. “First I want to set a few things straight. Castiel is not going to leave prison, unless you do something. Personally, I don’t care if you killed that man or not. What I do care about is that you’re the only one who can get him out of there” Sam said.
“Why would I help him? What’s in it for me?” Meg wanted to know.
“If you do the right thing, then I guarantee you Dean and I will never try to kill you again. You’ll be off our radar for good” Sam said.
That was a tempting offer. “What do you want me to do?” she asked.
Two weeks later

Daphne was in the shower, Zoey was out and Cas was sitting at the breakfast table when the bell rang. Still in his dressing-gown and bare feet he opened the door and stared at two older people. The man had grey hair, a big nose, brown eyes and chubby cheeks. The woman had chestnut hair, but that wasn’t her natural color. She had green eyes, a sharp face and thin lips.
“Are you going to let us in?” the man said. His wife was a little too shocked by the fact that Cas wasn’t dressed yet.
“I can’t let strangers in” Cas said.
“Those are my parents, moron” Zoey said....

Meg was pacing up and down the motel room. Both Sam and Dean had turned off their phones, so she had no idea if they had found Cas yet or not.
“Screw you, Dean” she growled and she walked to the door, forgetting it was locked. “Damn it!”
“I see you could use some help” Anna said from behind Meg. Meg turned around in fear. She never felt comfortable around angels, even now that she was a human. Anna quickly walked towards Meg. “I hope you’re trying to get out so you can go to Cas?” she said in an interrogating tone.
“You know where he is?” Meg asked agitated.
“You could...

“What do you mean, he left?” Sam asked, looking at Meg, requesting a reasonable explanation. Meg turned to Dean, whose expression told her he already understood what was going on. He read the note and said. “So he told you to start at a café?” Meg nodded. “Unfinished business. Cas, you idiot” Dean said in himself.
“Is someone going to explain me what’s going on?” Sam exclaimed. “What unfinished business? What is Cas up to?”
Dean and Meg glared at each other.
“Have a sit” Dean decided. Sam sat down on a chair, looking expectedly at his older brother. “You remember...
