Seven-year-old Aubrey was granted the wish of a lifetime by Kids Wish Network, in the form of meeting her favorite WWE star, CM Punk.

Beaming with happiness as she attended Monday Night Raw’s 800th episode shot live in Tampa, Fla., Aubrey pointed out her favorite wrestling stars to her mother, Cassandra. Some 1,300 miles from her home in Michigan on this exciting evening, Aubrey’s illness was the last thing on her mind. The trip was a much needed diversion for a family wrought with frequent hospital stays and doctor visits.

Like CM Punk, little Aubrey is not one to back down from a challenge, and her main challenge in life has been battling a neuroblastoma, or cancerous cell growth that occurs during normal development of the adrenal glands, located along her spinal column. She endured a surgery to remove a large portion of the mass, which had been the size of a grown man’s fist and had caused intense pain due to pressure it had exerted against Aubrey’s right kidney. Some of the tumor was too much of a risk to remove due to its close proximity to her spine, so Aubrey takes medication in an attempt to control its growth. She is seen by a radiologist...

It’s not surprising that CM Punk cites the radical “Rowdy” Roddy Piper as a childhood influence. After all, Punk is the embodiment of the anti-establishment, the modern-day “Voice of the Voiceless,” whose skill at igniting verbal “pipe bombs” is rivaled only by Hot Rod himself.

Punk even looks the part of rebel with his too-numerous-to-count tattoos and body piercings. Yet, he waxes way more philosophical than his exterior might suggest, and has shown a diverse set of interests that include ghost hunting, G. I. Joe and the “Straight Edge” movement, a subculture that rejects the use of drugs, alcohol and a dependency lifestyle. Punk’s only bad habit: his addiction to competition.

His in-ring repertoire is an assimilation of fighting styles, all of which were put on full display during his debut in The Land of the Extreme in 2006. Since then, Punk has added many accomplishments to his considerable résumé, including the ECW, WWE, World Heavyweight, World Tag Team and Intercontinental Championships.

His Drug Free Tattoo
- A Pepsi Globe logo on his left shoulder that inspired the names of two of his signature moves. It also became a symbol of Punk himself, who wore the logo on his ring gear in the independent circuit, as well as a slightly modified Pepsi logo being used as part of his TitanTron entrance video.[164] He got the tattoo as a joke, as many fraternity members in his school were getting beer logos tattooed on their bodies. Punk, a keen Pepsi drinker, chose to receive a Pepsi tattoo to emphasize his straight edge beliefs. The tattoo is also a reference to former Minor Threat guitarist Brian Baker, who had a Coca-Cola tattoo and explained this by saying "I like Coca-Cola". When people inquire about Punk's Pepsi tattoo, he often replies "I like Pepsi" in a similar fashion.
- The words "Straight Edge" are spelled out on Punk's stomach. This is one of his oldest tattoos; he has referred to it as his identity.
- A sleeve tattoo on his left arm that reads "luck is for losers" and features numerous good luck symbols, including a rabbit's foot, four-leaf clover and a horseshoe. The tattoo also features four ace playing cards as a tribute to trainer Ace Steel.

CM Punk recently spoke to "The Join 98FM" on a variety of topics while promoting the TLC PPV. Check out the highlights:
On whether he dislikes John Cena's character: "No, here's the thing. I think John Cena is tremendous. I don't think Cena gets the credit for how hard he works. 'I don't dislike you, John, but this idea that you're the best and you're afforded all of these opportunities.' I don't hate John at all. He's actually one of my favorites to get in the ring with."

On the Rock: "I'm glad he's back. He came back for Survivor Series and people saw me steal the show, so it's a business thing. I'm pissed off that I'm the only one who's pissed off. I'm like, 'Come on guys, don't you have any pride in what you do?'"

On whether there was a plan for the anonymous Raw GM: "Yeah, but I don't want to say it who was. The thing got built up so much that there might have been only, maybe two people who could have done it justice. Nothing would have done it justice. It just kept going and going."

YEAH!

Yeah

All I've ever wanted was destiny to be fulfilled
It is in my hands, I must not fail, I must not fail

Even through the darkest days
This fire burns always
This fire burns always

This is the proving ground
Misery begins to rise
Turn away from yesterday
Tomorrow's in my eyes (Oh!)

Nevermore to be held down
By the waves against me
Nevermore to be cast aside
This day is mine

Even through the darkest days
This fire burns always
This fire burns always

I will not be denied in this final hour
I will not be denied, this day is mine
This passion inside me is burning (Is burning)
This passion inside me is burning (Is burning)

Even through the darkest days
This fire burns always (always)
This fire burns (fire burns) always
Always (always)

CM Punk began wrestling in backyard wrestling and was part of a tag team called 'Chick Magnets'. Thus, the CM in his now name CM Punk. He decided that he wanted to be a real wrestler and seen it more than something that was just fun to do so he enrolled in wrestling school in Chicago. He then became a professional wrestler and wrestled in the independent circuit.

He joined ROH (Ring of Honor) later and became an icon there. At the same time he also joined as wrestled for TNA (Total Nonstop Action). In June of 2005 Punk accepted a deal with the WWE but still won the ROH World Championship in mid-June against Austin Aries. After that match Punk turned heel and threatened that he would take the ROH world championship belt with him to the WWE. Punk mocked his ROH title to the other wrestlers and ROH fans but ended up losing it in August to James Gibson. The next day after losing the title he lost a best out three match to Colt Cabana. After the match was over Punk was visibly crying in the ring and was showered with streamers in the middle of the ring, truly a ROH legend.
