Kiki opened her eyes. There was a terrible pain in her chest and back. She tried to get up. A shriek of pain came from her. She called for help multiple times. No answer. Kiki could turn her head slightly to the side. No buildings for miles. She barely could lift up her head. All of her friends were all around the same area. But they were all covered in blood. Kiki looked at herself. Blood.
"HELP! HELP, SOMEBODY HELP ME!" Kiki yelled. The pain was unbearable. "HELP!"
"SHUT UP!"
Kiki looked around. All she could see were her friends around her. There was no place to hide either. Kiki let out a few more helps to test.
"SHUT UP!!!!!!"
"Hello?" Kiki asked. She saw Megan stick her hand in the air. "Megan! Am I glad to see you! Are you OK?"
"Ya," Megan began. "I'm fine, my arm hurts and I think it might be broken, but other than that I've never been better!" Kiki scoffed.
"You think you could get up and check on the others?" Kiki asked. Megan nodded and got up. She limped a bit over to Abby.
"Numbuh 5 has a some small cuts all around, I think she'll be fine." Megan called over to Kiki. Megan then continued to Numbuh 2.
"Whoa!"
Kiki tried to lift up but the pain stabbed her in her gut. "What is it?" She called.
"Poor Hoagie has a huge bump and multiple cuts and bruises on his head!" Megan replied.
"OK!" Kiki called. She lifted up her arms and gave two thumbs up. Megan went over to Kuki. She checked Kuki's pulse.
"Numbuh 3 is a-OK!" Megan called. "But she lost a ton of blood." Kiki grunted. When Megan reached Kacey and Wally, she gasped.
"What? Who died?" Kiki called. She was trying to move but couldn't.
"I think the cousins might not have made it." Megan said. Kiki shot straight up. Not even the pain could stop her. Kiki gasped too. Numbuhs 4 and 7 were completely covered in blood. Kiki dragged herself over to them.
"Shake them awake! They have to have made it!" Kiki yelled. Both Megan and Kiki were shaking. Kacey twitched. Then her eyelids shot open.
"Who? What? Where? When? Why?" Kacey yelled. She tried to sit up. "OW! My leg!"
Kacey leaned over to Wally. After a few moments, she looked at herself. All she saw was blood.
"Wake up the others!" She yelled to Megan. Megan nodded. "Kiki, you grab Wally's legs, I got his arms." Kiki and Kacey did their best to lift up Wally, but Kacey leg was in too much pain. Kiki's pain went away, only to leave her sore.
"I can't do it." Kacey said. "I broke my leg."
"OK, I'll carry him." Kiki said. When Kacey handed her Wally, Kiki almost fell.
"What's he been eating?!" Kiki yelled. Kacey dragged herself over to Kuki.
"When that meteor hit us, it must have dissolved. Or else we'd be dead." Kacey said, shaking Kuki. Kuki woke up, rubbing the back of her head.
"Um, guys!" Megan called. "We have a situation!" Kacey, helped by Kuki, made her way over to Megan.
"What's up?" Kacey asked.
"Numbuh 2 isn't himself." Megan said. "Watch." She leaned in towards Hoagie.
"What's does py equal?" Megan asked. Hoagie pulled his thumb outta his mouth.
"YUMMY!" Hoagie yelled.
"It was supposed to be MC square." Megan said. Kacey sighed. Then, she was standing vertical.
"Numbuh 7, I thought your leg hurt." Megan said.
"It does. Why?" Kacey asked.
"Because you're standing straight up." Megan replied.
"No, I'm not!" Kacey said.
Megan looked at Kacey's feet."Then why are you-?" She stopped.
Kacey looked down at her own feet. She gasped.
"I'm levitating!" Kacey shrieked. Kiki looked over. It was true. Kacey was standing straight up, but her feet weren't touching the ground.
"Um? I'm hallucinating." Kiki said.
"No, you're not." Megan said. "Cuz I see it too." Kacey flew around. Then stopped.
"I know why I'm flying!" Kacey said. "That supposedly 'meteor' was full of-"
"Quantonium." Kiki finished. "It was full of quantonium, a powerful substance."
"Whoa, Kiki," Kacey said. "I've never heard you use big words before." Kiki announced a couple mathematical equations, rehearsed three scientific cures for diseases, and said the history of yellow.
"OK, I'm flying, Kiki's acting like a genius, and- where's Numbuh 5?" Kacey yelled. Then, out of nowhere, a speed of wind blew past them. Everyone looked around. Then, another wind. Soon, 56 winds blew past.
"What? Does Cuba have wind problems?" Megan asked. Then, a last wind blew past when Abby appeared out of nowhere. Kuki jumped back.
"Numbuh 5! Are you a magician?" Kuki yelled.
"No! I'm just so fast now." Abby answered. Kuki smiled. After a while, Numbuh 4 came to.
"Ow, my foot." He said rubbing the back of his head. Kacey went over to him. Wally was startled seeing she had the ability to fly.
"You OK, buddy?" Kacey asked. He nodded. Then, Numbuh 4 tried to lift up a big rock to prove he was OK. (Obviously Kacey would know he was OK if he couldn't lift it.) Wally easily lifted it with less strength than what's in his pinky. Kacey gasped looking at him.
"Yup, we've got super powers."
