"I wanna play 'Rainbow Monkeys'!" Mushi whined.
"I wanna go to the park!" Tommy cried.
"I want a balloon!" Val barked.
"Ah Bah Bah Bah Bah!" Joey babbled.
Kiki panicked a little. She never had been bombarded with complaints like that.
She fiddled with her fingers.
"Ok, guys. One at a time! Hmm....Mushi, Kuki won't let me touch her Monkeys without permission..."
Mushi threw herself on the floor and threw a tantrum. Val rolled her eyes; she could be a bit of a baby, but not THAT much of one.
"Tommy, It's too dark to go to the park..."
He crossed his arms and pouted.
"Val, Like I said, it's too dark to go to the park..."
She crossed her arms.
"Joey, Ah Bah Bah Bah Goo Goo Gah Blah...."
He cocked his head...then clapped his hands and laughed.
"You guys wanna do some.....um.....what do little kids like to do?....um....fingerpainting?"
The three older kids looked at each other. Then nodded.
"K, Follow me."

"See, guys? Isn't this fun?" Kiki asked, smudging green paint onto Joey's nose.
All 5 were busy making pictures.
"I want some cupcakes!" Mushi whined.
Val glared at her. She REALLY wanted to let Mushi have it, but she didn't wanna upset her dad. Whenever she acts up, he always seems to know...then again, he knows when ANYBODY acts up.
"What she MEANS is...Could you PLEASE make some cupcakes?"
Mushi stuck her tongue out at Val. Val bared her fang and hissed.
"Sure. I can trust you guys by yourself, right?"
Mushi crossed her fingers under the table.
"Yes."
"Good. I won't be long."
About 5 minutes later, there was a bunch of screaming, crying, crashing, and laughing coming from the mission prep room. Kiki rushed to see what the H-E- double hockey sticks was going on.
Her jaw dropped to the floor when she saw what had happened.

Paint was EVERYWHERE. On the computer screens, on the windows (Written on one window in blue was "The Tommy wuz hear"), and even in Val's hair. Tommy was trying to using the paint splattered on the table as his own personal tray, Joey was rubbing paint on his face (typical), and Val and Mushi were in a corner. She knew EXACTLY what Val was doing.
"VALENTINA LOUISE SPANK-U-LOT!!!!" she shrieked.
Wow. First, Middle AND Last name. Val knew she was in a heap of trouble.
Mushi got up and bawled her eyes out. She ran to Kiki and clung to her leg.
"Care to explain what happened?" she snarled.
She looked around nervously.
"The Devil made me do it!" she smiled.
She turned to Tommy, who was shaking.
He sang like a canary. From what he told her:
Mushi- Said something mean to Val.
Val- Said something mean back
Mushi- Poured red paint onto Val's picture
Val- Poured yellow paint onto Mushi picture and rubbed it all over
Mushi- Smudged purple paint on Val's nose
Val- Grabbed Mushi's pigtail and dipped it in orange paint.
Mushi- Grabbed jar of pink paint and poured it on Val's head.
Val- Completely lost it.
Kiki sighed.
"Ok, Val, go run your head under water, Tommy, help Mushi clean up this mess, Joey...."
He was still rubbing paint on his face.
"...continue what you're doing. I got to go check on the cupcakes."
She turned to Val.
"When you and Mushi are done, I want both of you to find your own seperate corners."
Mushi threw a fit. Val was shocked.
"Only a time-out? You should let me continue to spank the crud out of her!"
Kiki glared.
"Ok, ok, ok..."
10 minutes later, Kiki came back from the kitchen with cake frosting still visible under her fingernails. Her jaw immediatly dropped.
Surprisingly, The mission prep room was spotless. For a 5 and 7-year-old they did a great job.
Even more surprisingly, Everyone was gone.
She did a facepalm.
"I'm so fired."
