the compelled person's eye doesnt do anything. the compeller's eye does.

In the many many many times I've re-watched the scene, I see his pupil expand a little and then go back to its original form... it's just a second... Or maybe this show just finally ended up screwing with my head and I'm crazy...

^^^ Exactly, that's what their pupils do when they are using their power of compulsion. And I'm 99% sure that the one being compelled's pupil does it too but hers didn't...?

Yeah, they normally expand for just a second and go back to normal again.. But I think some people are getting thier hopes up, because the BEST idea is in 2 or 1 seasons
time or something, for her to turn a vampire and remember.. Her feelings for him would have gone deeper by then and would have meant more to her.

I honestly think that she will remember either way :p. I think Stefan could have gave her vervain something ??

^ and after being compelled by Elijah, why would she dare take the risk of not having vervain with her just because she lost that particular necklace? Her life is in danger constantly and vervain is the one power she has over vampires. Surely Elena is not that careless now...

Plus we have evidence; the glass in her bathroom, the cup on her dresser - vervain tea?
She was rubbing her arm before she saw Damon in her room - she could have bathed in vervain???
She threw the vervain-bomb at Elijah - some could have landed on her?????

It might sounds like I'm pulling short straws here, I'm not ruling out the possibility she could remember just yet...
