Courtney’s POV: I walked down the sidewalk as the sun was just beginning to rise. “What a night.”I thought. “Wonder what Brittany is gonna say this time.” I walked through the front door as Brittany ran up to me and hugged me. “Where have you been?! I’ve been worried sick!”she said. Brittany wouldn’t know what to do if she didn’t have me. “I was out somewhere.”I simply said. “And I don’t get a hello?” Brittany asked. “Hey Brit.”I said. I walked up the stairs and into my room and layed down on the bed and turned on my laptop. I checked my emails as I pulled up my friend Bridgette’s email.
“Hey Courtney! What’s up girly?? Listen, I got us a gig at a bar. I know exactly where its at and I’ll come and pick you up tonight. See ya later!” I read.
“Ok, see ya tonight.”I typed and clicked send.
I layed back and put my aching head on the pillow. The reason my head is hurting is because Brittany hit me with a pool stick a couple nights ago. I think she thought I was an intruder or something. I think she hit me by accident but I don’t know. I walked back downstairs and saw Brittany sitting on the couch and watching T.V. “Whatcha watching?”I asked holding my head. “Jersey Shore. Snooki and Mike are fighting again. “Why do you watch that show again?” I asked. “Because they’re famous.” Brittany said. “Of course they are.”I said. “How’s your head.” She said. “Hurting.”I said. “You know I didn’t mean to hit you that hard.”Brittany said. “I’m fine.”I said and looked at the clock. “I gotta go.”I said and walked out the door before Brittany could ask why. She’s always in my business. I saw Bridgette in her car as I hopped in the car and she drove off. “So, this bar, are we here yet?”I asked. “We are now.”Bridgette said. We got out of the car and walked inside. We walked on stage and saw the rest of the band was already there. Bridgette plays bass, I’m lead singer/ acoustic guitarist, and Gwen plays drums. “Where have you guys been?”Gwen asked. “I had to pick Courtney up.”Bridgette said. “That’s funny. The spoiled princess gets everything she wants except a car.”Gwen teased. “Shut up and play.”I said as I adjusted the microphone. Gwen got a beat going on the drums then Bridgette joined in as I started singing.

Courtney’s POV: “Do any of you wanna be my cowboy?”I asked the crowd as they all started laughing and whistling. Then all of a sudden, a teenage punk stepped on stage. “I do.” He said. “And what’s your name?”I asked. “Duncan, yours?”he said. “Courtney.”I said and put my hands around his neck as his hands moved to my waist. We both leaned in and kissed. The crowd went wild as I broke the kiss and backed him up to the edge of the stage and held him by his shirt. I pulled him slightly forward and kissed him on the cheek before I let him drop to the floor. I walked back and started the next song. I looked down at him, smiled, winked, and threw a piece of paper with my number on it at him. He looked down at it and smiled.
