I thinks it's funny how all of you 'Twitards' can't support your argument at all. You have no fact except your opinion, which, in fact, isn't a fact at all. Harry Potter is better than Twilight for many different reasons.
1) Harry Potter has a plot. No, it might hurt, but 'a vampire and mortal falling in love' is NOT a plot. It's just a filler for the author so that she can trick you into thinking her books have plots. When a hint of a plot finally arrives, it's tacked onto the end as if it was added because the editor also thought the books had no plot.
2) Harry Potter is better than Edward Cullen. Ed may be 'perfect' and 'amazing' and 'beautiful', and Harry isn't, but that's the reason people love Harry better. Nobody should like reading about a perfect person because no one is perfect, and they are so boring. Ed has no personality, while Harry is a well-rounded, fleshed out character with FLAWS. Giving characters flaws is something Smeyer seems to struggle with.
3) Bella Swan is NOT a role model, Hermione Granger is. Bella is a naive, selfish, superficial, and dependent girl with no knowledge of how the world really works. According to her, it's okay to leave beind your friends and family as long as you get a perfect vampire husband! :D Hermione is someone people can look up to. She kicks ass!
4) Harry Potter actually HAS a good editor. Twilight is so full of basic grammatical errors, inconsistencies, spelling errors, and plot holes. It's obvious that editor had no clue how to do her job. You can go through all seven Harry Potter books, and you'll be lucky to find ONE spelling error.
5) The characters in Harry Potter are realistic. Don't give me that crap about how wizards aren't real, because I'm talking about personalities. The Harry Potter characters all have their strengths, weaknesses, flaws, good days, and bad days. They're people that real people can relate to.
6) JK Rowling is a better person and author than Stephenie Meyer. Jo has donated to charity, started her OWN charity, hasn't broken down when her books were leaked, and she still manages to keep it from going to her head. She's richer than the frickin' royal family, and she keeps her feet on the ground and her head out of the clouds. I admire that woman, and what does Smeyer do? Sit on the couch all day counting her cash while her douchebag of a brother Seth makes sure that 'dear Stephenie' doesn't get any hatemail.
7) Harry Potter has sold more books. Twilight will never catch up with Harry Potter in book sales, I just don't think it's possible. Harry Potter has sold over 300 million books, and Twilight has sold how much? Like, 30 million?
8) Jo needed her book sale money, Smeyer didn't. Jo was a single mother, basically homeless, and writing on napkins in a cafe when she first started out. She needed the money, and she did great. Smeyer had a husband to support her and didn't work.
9) Villains. The Volturi cannot be called villains, no matter what Bella thinks, because they AREN'T! Voldemort and the Death Eaters could kick their asses to Pluto and back during their morning tea. Voldemort actually gets shit done, while the Volturi just sit around thinking of ways to 'better' the vampire world.
10) Ron Weasley is a better best friend than Jacob Black (who is a complete rip-off of Sirius Black, but that's for another time). Ron is stubborn, average intelligence, and is sometimes not very happy at getting refered to as the sidekick. And he isn't in love with Harry, XD! Ron is just an all around better person, and best friend, than Jacob.
There you have it, folks. If I feel like it, I might post another ten, but this should be enough for right now. I don't want to rupture the -6 IQ brain the average twitard has. :D

HARRY POTTER KICKS TWILIGHT'S ICE COLD ASS!!!!!

I think Freds-Lover pretty much said it all, but I'll add my two cents.

I started reading the Twilight series with an open mind and it thoroughly disappointed me. There is zero storyline. What REALLY turned me off was that the first SEVENTEEN chapters of Twilight followed this pattern: girl sees boy, girl likes boy, boy likes how girl smells, boy goes away, girl feels offended, girl still likes boy, boy still likes girl, boy watches girl sleep, boy wants to kiss girl, boy is afraid to kiss girl, girl wants boy so much... you get it. And to top it all off, the remaining chapters weren't that great. New Moon was perhaps the worst. While reading it I just felt as though I was wasting my time... Who wants to read several hundred pages about a girl attempting to kill her self just to hear her lover's voice?! Breaking Dawn was quite upsetting because it was the only one that didn't start off completely sucky (emphasis on completely)... and then had THE most anti-climatic ending a story could EVER have. Harry Potter has an extremely well though out plot. Hints from the first book form part of the storyline for even the last book. Everything is connected. When awaiting the release of a new Harry Potter book, one could have read between the lines and hazarded a guess of what to expect in future books. Not to mention the characters are solid, believable and relatable.

Another thing that annoyed me was the several spelling errors in the Twilight series. From reading the four books once each, I discovered about 5 spelling errors. Having been an avid Harry Potter reader for about nine years, altogether I've read the Harry Potter books possibly almost one hundred times and I've never seen a spelling error... Clearly Stephenie Meyer needs a better editor...

Also, in Harry Potter one can see morals, values and life lessons being taught. We see that Harry values friendship, is utterly selfless (he would die just to save everyone else),is determined, has the ability to forgive his enemies, is humble (he doesn't flaunt his riches or let the fact that he's one of the most famous people in the wizarding world go to his head) and many other qualities. What do we see in Twilight? Bella couldn't give a fart about her friends once she was around Edward, puts her family in danger by associating with him and completely uses Jacob when Edward leaves. The Cullens have a whole lot of money and what do they do? Flaunt it by purchasing the most expensive and unnecessary luxuries. That's surely what we want young minds to be filled with...

There's no need to say any more. There's no comparison. Harry Potter is better :D

The most all you Twilight Fans put was about two lines! You people are pathetic! You can say Twilight is better than Harry Potter, but when it comes to giving reasons, you are all struck dumb!

Reasons Harry Potter is better, well I don't know where to start, but let's start with the movies, shall we?

The actors in Harry Potter are better. Why? Well take one look at Alan Rickman. He is AWSOME. You really hate him. (Spoiler Alert) Though at the end of Deathly Hallows we're all going to love him!

And Kristen Stewart? Well she is the worst actor EVER! And Taylor is shit too. Rob? He just can't get into the role of Edward. And he's ugly! If you ask me, he should of stuck with blonde hair.

The books?
There is no doubt, Harry Potter is better! The plot is well thought-out with amazing charecters who we can relate to as they go through love-life, hard-ship school and much more. Harry Potter is so unpredictible. While Twilight... Let me get this straight. The first book was mostly about "What is Edward?" And yet two lines into the blurb we find out he is a vampire! Talk about stupid!!!

The Authours
J.K.Rowling is over-all the better person. She countlessly donates to charity and there some heart-breaking stories on how she read unpuplished books to dieing fans.
Meyer gets into a frenzy if one sentence of her presious books is leaked out to the public.

The Fame
Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows raised 240 thousand in the first three days! Nah, just kidding, 240 MILLION in the first three days! Also there is a Wizarding World of Harry Potter but there are no Twilight theme parks AT ALL!
Harry Potter books have sold 400 million worldwide
Twilight has sold 100 million worldwide
There is a movie (Vampires Suck) that makes fun of Twilight, however no movies make fun of Harry Potter.

Harry Potter has been out twenty years and still nearly everyone loves it.
Twilight hasn't even been out five years and people are already getting sick of it.
