Day 01: Depart Luxor / Kharga Oasis
Morning departure at 06:00 am, pick you up from your hotel in Luxor and travel for around 5 hours to to Al Kharga. Just outside town are the remains of the Temple of Hibis, built by Darius I during the Roman period. There is time to visit the temple, as well as the Christian burial ground at Al Bagawat, which dates back to the 7th century. We drive on, to Dakhla, where we spend the night at an Oasis style hut with reed huts, communal showers and basic facilities. Then transfer to Dakhla & overnight.

Day 2: Dakhla Oasis
After breakfast, head off to the fabulous medieval mud-brick town of El Qasr, exploring the timeless streets, an ancient olive press and the granary. We also visit the excellent little Ethnological Museum, a locally-sponsored project which we support through our visits. There is also a hot spring nearby which makes a great rest stop either on the way out or when we return. We return for lunch . Then transfer Back to Kharga where you will overnight camping at Baris to spend your night camping under the stars.

Breakfast, transfer back to your hotel in Luxor.

Combine a morning of sightseeing in Dendara and Abydos. Start with Hathour temple in Dendra, The approach path is between two Roman fountains that end at the massive entry gate, The walls are mud-brick and date to the Roman era. Between the walls is the temple, two birth houses, a Coptic Basilica, a sanitarium, a sacred lake and the Temple of the Birth of Isis. Then move to Abydos in Middle Egypt, buildings constituting the settlement area in northern Abydos dating back to Predynastic times have been found around Kom es-Sultan, while recent excavators have found an Old Kingdom residential area to the south-east which contains a street of mudbrick houses with courtyards and a faience workshop with its kilns. End of the tour and transfer back to your hotel in Luxor.

Return back to your cruise in Izmir port.

Pick up from Agadir port to enjoy a day trip to Taroudant city. Lies between Agadir and Taliouine. Being one of the most fertile regions in the south, with a river that runs all year long, leaders and sultans have used it throughout history as a base from which they would attempt to take over the stronghold of Marrakesh. With the modernization from historical construction to the more recent craze of cinder-block houses, the ancient beauty that Taroudant once held remains a spark in the traveler’s imagination. You will visit the city and city souks that offers handicrafts, terracotta, silver, leather goods, carpets and beaded jewelry. Return back to your cruise in Agadir port.
