Carlisle's P.O.V.

I hear a knock on the door of my study.
"Come in"
"hey Carlisle, there is some one at the door"Says Edward
"Who"
"She says her name is Esme.."
Just then Bella (my fiance)walks in
"I'll be back" I say
As I am wlking down the stair case I remember Esme.I run to the door. I had been waiting for this moment for years.I compose myself and open the door.
"hello" I say
"Dr.Cullen, do you remember me?"
"Your name is Esme,correct?"
"yes"I could tell she was excited
"please come in" I say
So we sit and catch up...I could see Bella in the corner glaring jealously at Esme.Edward has never really gotten over Bella leaving him for me.Suddenly I feel an old flame coming back...then it hit me I was falling in love with Esme...Later that night after Esme left.I spoke to Edward about it.
"edward what do I do?"
"Just tell Bella the truth, thats all you can do."
"Ecward what would I do without you?" I said as i patted him on the back.I went to go find Bella,this is going to be hard.
"Carlisle, what's going on?"
I explained everything to her,and she started to cry, because I broke off the engagement. She started to pack up her things.While I went to go find Esme. I found her car parked at a little cottage. I saw the curtans move and then the door opened and she ran out. I scopped her up in my arms,and held her close.
"I was waiting for you " she said
