While receiving a lot of attention for their own variety show for five member girl group, f(x), rumors have been circulating around amongst fans, saying group member, Amber, has already quit.

f(x)’s first reality variety show, “f(x)’s Koala” which will soon start to broadcast on MBC Every1, will reveal the various cultural experiences of the members while in LA, Tokyo, and other world famous cities, which will no doubt be an extreme type of “real variety” for Korean audiences.

However, only four of the members of the group, excluding Amber, will be featured in the program. Because of Amber’s absence in recent activities, suspicions, such as “Is she quitting”, have been spreading. However, news about Amber staying in America with her parents while resting for her ankle injury to heal has been cleared up.

A representative from f(x)’s agency company, SM Entertainment, has revealed on me2day Star News stating that “Because of Amber’s naturally weak ankle area, yet still forcing herself to attend activities, this had led to her condition worsening. After the diagnosis of the problem, it was concluded that she had to rest in hospital. Due to this situation, she hasn’t been able to attend activities.”

Regarding the recent rumors of her “quitting”, the representative has expressed that it is impossible that she has quit.

On the other hand, apart from the injured Amber, f(x) have been rigorously undertaking individual activies. The first episode of f(x)’s first reality variety show, “Koala”, will reveal their dormitory and various charms such as their special individual talents. This anticipated program will be first broadcasted on 2nd of October.

She said on her tumblr "Sleeping on the streets :) Do you miss me? Hahaha LOL. I’m still in LA, but I think I’ll return to Seoul very soon. I think I’ll return to Seoul very soon, everyone’s waiting for me.”
