Damon and Elena were standing in front of Bonnie’s house, waiting for Bonnie to open up. Elena looked from the door to Damon, seeming to be uncomfortable. “Maybe you should let me do the talking” she suggested. “Like you said, you and Bonnie are not the best friends” Damon pursed his lips. “Suuuure, all you want” he said with a smirk and a wink. The door went open and Bonnie looked at them. “Hi, Elena” she said and hugged her friend. She looked at Damon as if he was dirt. “Sorry, but I’m not going to hug you” “But that would’ve been the highlight of my day!” Damon said sarcastic, which gained him an angry eyeshot from Elena. “Don’t play games with me, Damon” Bonnie said. “Say what you want and get the hell out of here” Elena made a step forward. “We need your help” she showed her the necklace. “We need you to put a spell on this, so it can protect people from the sun” Bonnie’s face stiffened. “By people you mean vampires, I assume” she said with a cold voice that didn’t suit her, but that usually was reserved for Damon. “Well, yeah” Elena said reluctantly. Bonnie shook her head. “I can’t believe you’re asking me this, Elena. I’m going against all of my believes if I do this. Last time I helped them I almost lost Jeremy! I won’t go through that again!” she said upset. She turned to Damon. “This is your idea, isn’t it? Of course it is. Only you can come up with something that tactless. You really have no shame-whoah” Bonnie lost her balance and Damon caught her by her shoulders, pushing her back on her feet. “Bonnie, are you okay?” Elena asked concerned. She nodded. “Damon, let’s go” Elena said softly. “She’s right. We were wrong to ask her” She and Damon turned around and walked away.
“Wait!” they heard a few seconds later. They turned around again, waiting for Bonnie to catch up with them. “Who do you want to protect?” she asked serious.
“It’s not that I want it” Elena started. “But we have to protect Katherine. We need her to find Stefan back. She knows Klaus better than Damon and I”
“How do you know she’s not playing tricks with you? Maybe she will lead you right in his arms” Bonnie said.
“I survived him once. Facing him again is a risk I’ll have to take” Elena answered.
“And what if Damon and Katherine are cooperating in killing you? Offering you to Klaus to get Stefan back?” Bonnie continued.
“I can’t speak for Katherine, but I know I can trust Damon” Elena said.
“Why?” Bonnie asked unbelieving.
Elena looked at Damon and he looked back right in her eyes. “I have my reasons” she softly said.

“If I have to die, so will you” Zoey said.
“No one has to die, moron!” Dean yelled angry. “Put the fire out, open the door, do something!”
Zoey shook her head. “I can’t. Crowley will kill me, if I let you go”
“He’ll kill you either way” Dean snapped.
“Well, if Cas doesn’t love me I don’t care” Zoey exclaimed crying.
They heard a noise and looked aside. Cas opened his eyes and frowned.
“Dean?” he said hoarse.
“I’m here” Dean said, quickly walking to Cas. He helped Cas sit up and supported his back. He looked from Cas’ injuries to Zoey. “If you really love him, you’ll let him go”
Zoey shook her head.
Cas put his fingers in his blood and painted a sigil on the floor. He poked Dean and nodded weak at the bloody sign.
“What is it?” Zoey wanted to know.
But Dean put his hand on the sigil and he and Cas vanished in a blinding light.

Cas beached on the street, far away from Rufus’ cabin. He wasn’t sure how to feel. He was angry, because Dean wouldn’t listen to him. Dean always thought he knew everything better. He was disappointed, because Dean had no faith in him at all.
He was so up in thought that he didn’t hear his name. But maybe that was because she didn’t use his real name.
“Emmanuel!”
Someone grabbed his arm and forced him to turn around. He looked at the woman. She looked familiar.
“Didn’t you hear me?” the woman asked. Cas stared at her. “Don’t you recognize me? It’s me, Daphne, your wife?”
Cas widened his eyes as he remembered her.
“Daphne” he said breathless. “How did you find me? What are you doing here?”
“Well, I hired a detective, I needed to find you” Daphne said. She searched in her pockets and conjured a big brown envelope. “I need you to sign these”
“What is it?” Cas frowned.
“A petition for annulment” Daphne answered.
