This site feels really slow. Like I'm not even sure why it takes so long. It's not even this Chrome browser only, its even slow on mobile, tablet, and the browsers I don't really use.
This site isn't incredibly active.

Minus mobile. And we need a more efficient means of blocking trolls and negative users.

It's good except for the confusing medal system, lack of tech support and features that I'm still trying to figure out why there here and what there for, I'm happy with this site.

I'm mostly just feeling a bit impatient regarding the rest of the link that were announced a couple of years ago and still haven't been implemented yet. I get that it takes time to do these things but by now would have expected more of these features to be in place.

However, I'm happy with the majority of the site and its features. Trolls and spammers are actually dealt with far quicker here than they are on most of the other sites I visit regularly, and I am enjoying the range of features the site has to offer.

For one they should have NO way to contact you. I've closed my wall to anyone not on my fanlist due to trolling and aggressive users. However there is a work around; if you comment on a club's wall the troll can post on that. If you block a person they should't be able to comment on any of your wall posts.
Also the current block system doesn't even actually block them. It fowards their messages into the trash. Meaning the person can still contact you. And if curiosity gets the best of you, you can look in your trash and see how many times they tried to contact you.
So first and foremost; let's get a REAL blocking system.

As for polls (so that it doesn't get abused) maybe a function that just makes it so they can't see your comments and you can't see theirs.

Mostly, but one thing that really bothers me is when you are required to have a certain amount of Gold in order to vote on new changes to clubs. It's incredibly flawed. I've been a Fanpop user for years but because I don't contribute as much as I used to I inevitably don't have much Gold, people could say that's my own problem but I just don't feel it's fair that someone that's been here for so long (I'm not just talking about myself, others too) often can't even vote for something as small as a new icon in a club they've contributed a lot to in the past. Something needs to change there; I don't have a problem with Gold but they should also take into account how long someone's been a member, or at the very least how long they've been a fan of that specific club.

It seems trivial and I get that they want people to contribute but it actually makes me want to come on here LESS not MORE. It's frustrating to me and makes me feel like a 'lesser' user when I've been here for years.

@zanhar1 That's an excellent idea indeed! Let's hope some of the Fanpop moderators would actually see this poll results & finally do something about it.

Having spent time on Twitter where Nazis and misogynists are able to spew their hatred freely with zero consequences, this place feels like a safe haven. It's still flawed, but a lot more fun than other platforms.

Note: Had to change my vote 2 yrs later. This is NOT the same network it was back in 2017, or 2018! There's no more fun on Fanpop! Too many glitches, too many fake friends & no club activity whatsoever. We have absolutely no control over our own content, especially our polls, quizzes, etc. There's no editing option available for polls & quizzes that we made + there's no deleting polls & quizzes option either. We can't even change our mind if we happen to fan something by mistake, no matter how much we may try. Also, how come our enemies can still send us messages to our mailbox?! That's beyond me! Why would anyone in his right mind ever be even remotely interested in what their enemy has to say?!?

As of today, not satisfied; I haven't been able to make polls because I don't like adding polls without images and for the past week I haven't been able to add any images.

^Weird. I haven't had any trouble, and it doesn't link a widespread issue... maybe try clearing your history? Or testing on a different browser? Or asking God why he hates you? XD

I did lol just cleared it two days ago when the glitch started.

SilentForce said that she was also having the same issue. I'll see if using another browser works.

I really like fanpop, but it would be nice if it would actually WORK like it is supposed to. I can't count how often uploading a picture just stopped working, and this last glitch has now lasted for over a month for me now. I am just p... off at this point.

^ Dude yeah, this is the longest that the glitch has lasted and it is starting to bother me because even firefox ain't working now.

Just here to drop my two cents in and say that the blocking mechanics is a no. And since Zan pretty much said what I wanted to about it, I'll just leave it at that.
