Ninja's Never Change...
The HQ was alive with excitement, as the countdown till the Shirtless Ninja Action marathon aired. Skipper was barking orders as usual and the others blindly followed. “GET THE POPCORN, THE SNOW CONES! RICO! STOP EATING THE SUPPLIES AND HOP TO IT!” He yelled, almost losing his voice. Private and Rune watched from the bunks as the penguins ran about gathering the ‘supplies, essential for full viewing experience’ or at least that’s what Kowalski said…
Bandit decided to take advantage of all the chaos to sneak outside, but CC, Rune and Private noticed her absence and went after her. “And where do you think you’re going?” Asked CC, flippers on hips. Bandit looked nervous as she turned to face them. “Who me? I’m going for… Snow cones! In the park!” She replied hastily, edging away from them. “Oh, in that case, we’ll come too!” Private said, bouncing up and down. “You what?” Bandit replied, looking even more nervous. “Well, you can’t carry all those snow cones by yourself can you!” CC giggled, leading the way. But by the time they reached the cart, Bandit had disappeared along with the old skateboard. Her plan wasn’t to get snow cones, but it was to discover the fate BMA Skipper. She knew what she was doing was dangerous but that didn’t matter to her at all, she was still thinking about the connection. Bandit pushed the skateboard along, talking to herself. “I’ve just got to find him, I’ve never felt a connection like that before, not since…” She broke off mid-sentence, tears began to well up in the corners of her eyes. “Sanders…” She finished her sentence.
She finally reached the Hoboken Zoo, but police were everywhere! Bandit hid behind the gate. “Oh great, I come all this way for nothing… He’s probably been destroyed by now” She complained. Bandit hung her head and returned to the skateboard when suddenly, her stomach began to rumble as an enticing smell filled the air. She glanced around and spotted ‘Purnell’s Fish and Chip’ shop. “Perfect! I’ll just grab a fish or two… I’m sure they won’t notice them missing” She said slyly, making her way across the road. She was just about to grab the grapple gun from her belt when she heard a loud bang from the alley behind the shop. Cautiously, she made her way around the back of the shop, daggers in flippers. She poked her head around the corner and saw BMA Skipper, stumbling around the alleyway, flippers out in front of him, both eyes were black and damaged. Bandit approached him but he did not react. “Hello?” She questioned, reaching out to touch his shoulder. As soon as he heard her, he span around, almost kicking her but stumbling over onto his back. Bandit spoke reassuringly, “Hey calm down! I’m not here to hurt you… I wanna help” She reached out and grabbed his flipper to pull him up. She was beginning to regret offering, he was heavier than he looks! Though she should have expected this, after all, he is made of metal…
Back in the park, Rune noticed that Bandit was missing and tugged at CC’s flipper. CC tutted, “Ninja’s never change…”
