Chapter 4
Madi opened her eyes. She didn't realize where she was until she recognized it.
"General! General!" Madi jumped out of the hospital bed, but someone grabbed on of her flippers.
"Madi, stop!" Madi struggled. She turned around and recognized her partner, Cam. She recognized his short blonde hair and bright blue eyes. That's when she looked in the mirror on the wall.
"My GOD, why do I look so TERRIBLE?" Madi said. Her hair was a mess, she had blood on her cheeks and beak, and she was wearing scrubs.
"That's how hard you fight, Madi!" Cam said. Madi put her flippers on her face, which she realized was in bandages. That's when she remembered what happened.
"Where is the team?" Madi asked.
"Don't worry about that. You need your rest." Cam said.
"I don't need rest!"
"You were SHOT, MADI!" She had never realized how worried Cam was about her. She hit Cam's flipper and he released his grip. She ran out of the room. She tried to grab her laser, but she realized her weapons were gone. She ran down the hallway of the hospital.
"Madi! Get Madi!" Cam shouted. Penguin doctors pursued Madi. She didn't care; she was one of the fastest penguins in the force. But when she saw that some of the doctors had stun guns, she realized speed didn't matter when they locked on her. She still didn't care though; if she found out the team was alright, it would be worth it. She kept running anyway. A doctor pulled the trigger on the stun gun. It shot past Madi's head. She saw an elevator and jumped into it. She pressed a random button. A doctor shot their stun gun. Madi pressed the close doors button. The ray from the stun gun hit Madi right before the doors closed. She dropped to the ground. I have to get to the lobby. Madi thought. She sat there paralyzed. When the doors opened, doctors were waiting in front of the elevator.
"Freeze and nobody gets hurt!" The doctor said. Too late for that, Madi thought. The doctors grabbed her flippers and led her out of the elevator. Crap! She thought. Back to the drawing board.
Chapter 5
"You can't just run off like that!" Cam said. "I thought you would do fine here, but nooo! Pikachu knows everything! You decided to run off and get shot by a stun gun! That is still in effect!" Madi was too crabby to get lectured. She could just her taping Cam' mouth shut right now. After all, there was duck taps across the room. Too bad I'm paralyzed. Madi thought. She couldn't even move her mouth, which was a bummer because she could say shut up to Cam and not get slugged on her flipper.
"I bet you want to say shut up to me right now, huh?" Cam smirked. Who are you, Criss Angel? Madi thought. (Criss Angel is psychic) She scowled. Cam's eyes widened.
"Oh no." Cam said.
"Oh YEAH!" Madi shouted. She jumped out of bed. Cam smirked.
"Can't go out the door, now." Cam said. Madi looked around the room and saw the window. She grabbed her weapons pack and opened the window.
"Doors are so over-rated!" Madi smirked. She jumped out of the window.
"Madi!" Cam cried.
"Whoo-hoo!" Madi cheered. She ripped off her scrubs and saw her outfit still on. She shouted again.
"Another day, another searching team to find and bring back Madi." Cam sighed.
Chapter 6
"What are you doing here, Madi? I thought you were in the hospital!" Skipper asked.
"I was. I just escaped." Madi said.
"You WHAT?!"
"That's not important. What is important is breaking into Blowhole's HQ!" Madi said.
"You can't be serious! You're going to break into an HQ that belongs to the same dolphin that shot you?! That's insane!"
"Well it's better me than you!" Skipper was taken aback this comment.
"And if you haven't noticed, EVERYTHING I've been doing isn't sane at all!" Madi shouted. "Now I'm going to talk to General so I can figure all of this out, because mainly, I haven't had a lot of time to process everything that has happened!" Madi said. She looked at Skipper in the eye. That's when Skipper noticed something: There was fear in her eyes. She's afraid. Skipper thought. Madi turned around and started to walk down the road to an alley. Afraid of what? How can tough, strong, and confident Madi be afraid of anything? Madi jumped onto dumpster. She jumped again and grabbed the ladder of a fire escape. She swung back and forth and flipped. She landed on the platform.
"Come on!" She said. The penguins jumped on the dumpster and grabbed her flipper one at a time. Then they descended up the fire escape.
"We should be on the roof in no time! Soon, we'll have total visual of Hollywood." Madi said. Kowalski took out his notebook and wrote some stuff down.
"Madi, are you sure we should go up there? The wind current is abnormally strong." Kowalski said.
"Nonsense. The only thing that is abnormal is that we haven't defeated Blowhole yet!" Madi said. She descended the last set of stairs. She reached the roof in no time. That's when she stopped. In front of her was a blond-haired penguin. He turned around and looked at Madi. The sun was gazing down on him, illuminating his blonde hair and bright blue eyes. Madi gasped.
"Cam?"
