Not long ago Foreigners Mick Jones was accosted by a famous model in a New York restaurant I have a bone to pick with you seems she was the ex girl friend of Johnny Rotten now Lydon of the Sex Pistols back in 78 She claimed Lydon kept her up 2 nightsdancing to a red vinyl promo disk called Hot Blooded that the former Pistol just couldn't get off his turntable Even Jones admits it was unfashionable in many circles to admire Foreigners mainstream rock in those days but Lydon was only one of many closet fans who noticed Foreigner stood out from the crowd of corporate rockers for 2 simple but profound reasons 1 they had the guts to take risks 2 they could rock their butts off.
Mick Jones was listening to Juke Box one day and heard Les Paul and Mary Ford with their Guitar he was fascinated and went to a second hand store and bought a second handed broken Guitar never played one taught himself and became one of the best ones ever he needed a band needed a name for it and players he heard an Album called Black Sheep and liked the singer Lou Gramm who became lead singer they both had health problems and a falling out didn't speak for 10 years Lou called him to tell him he was happy that he won an award for best song writer so did Lou they became best friends after that Lou quit in 2003 and Kelly Hansen took his place the song Juke Box Hero came from that one day Mick heard that song
