Greased Lightnin’ may not be a sad sounding song, but, the backstory about it is depressing and it might make Travolta fans rage quit. While Greased Lightnin’ was being filmed, plans were going to be originally different. Jeff Conaway who portrayed Kenickie, was originally going to sing the song, but, John Travolta wanted to sing it, so he got the solo. Kenickie never even got the chance to sing his own song in Grease because of John Travolta. It’s like Travolta was insulting Conaway! It’s like what Travolta wanted was to be the king of cool! Travolta had his own solo song, Sandy! He also sang several of his lines of Summer Nights and You’re The One That I Want! He is not the only guy in the film! Shouldn’t he let someone else have the solo for a change?! Jeff Conaway needed to sing Greased Lightnin’! It was Kenickie’s car! Danny’s car may have made an appearance in the song, but, it was just an imagination! It was Kenickie’s car the whole time in the song! John Travolta just took the solo away! It’s just wrong! He shouldn’t have the right to do that! Danny and Kenickie may have been best pals in Grease, but, in real life, Travolta treats Conaway like crap! From stealing the solo to attempting sex several years after Grease! It’s like he just doesn’t care! Show Jeff Conaway some respect! He needs it! Another sad thing that happened during the filming of Greased Lightnin’ is that Jeff Conaway got injured. He fell and injured his back and it was one of the things that led to his death in 2011. It was so sad. It was a horrible injury and his back hurt for a long time. It was the most depressing thing that happened on set of Grease. But, the thing that is more depressing and off set of Grease was his death in 2011. That’s why 2011 was a sad, melancholy year. Another thing that caused his death was drugs. Drugs are a bad habit and deadly, but, they are addictive. Conaway was hot in Taxi and Grease. R.I.P. Jeff Conaway 60 (almost 61) years 1950-2011 You are a god and will be missed.
than go with a boy or two
Even though the neighborhood thinks
I'm trashy and no good
I suppose it could be true,
but there are worse things I could do
I could flirt with all the guys,
smile at them and bat my eyes.
Press against them when we dance,
make them think they stand a chance
and then refuse to see it through,
that's the thing I'd never do.
I can stay home every night
Wait around for Mr. Right,
take cold showers everyday,
and throw my life away,
on a dream that won't come true
I could hurt someone like me,
out of spite or jealousy,
I don't steal and I don't lie,
but I can feel and I cry
In fact I'll bet you never knew,
but to cry in front of you,
that's the worse thing I could do.
