Haley James Scott has been such an inspiration to the show One Tree Hill. In the beginning of the show (season 1) she was like the angel. She was so studious and she believed in abstinence. She stood up for what she believed in and told Nathan that their relationship could not be about sex she wanted something more out of it. In season 2 she still stood up for what she believed in (Music) and followed her dreams but also became more like a person by getting married in high school and becoming less angelic. In season 3 she was more a person by working things out with her and Nathan but she was still a good person by helping out while in the tutoring center during the tradgic schoool shooting. in Season 4 she became a teenage nother, stood by her husband when he got caught point shaving. She was still that same studious person and achieved valedictorian but, was more of a person who makes mistakes in life and accepts herself for who she is. although most of the characters have matured I feel that haley has really grown into a strong individual. I think that Peyton started strong from the beginning because she had to. Peyton had no mother present in her life and her dad was never around. She needed to be strong and fend for herself. Brooke has also grown very strong because she used to be this slutty cheerleader where the most important thing in life was how much weight she wanted to lose or how fat she looked (I know there is more to her than that but....) Now she runs a talented and expanding company (Clothes over Bros) and has to take on her own challenges.
