For the second year in a row, Haley James Scott has taken out the top spot in our top 10 coolest TV mothers poll, and is it really any surprise? She’s young, cool, intelligent, and goofy. She may be mother to young Jamie, but up until recently she was also the much loved English teacher at Tree Hill High, and thus a trusted authority figure in many of her students’ lives. It wasn’t uncommon for Haley to take many of her troubled students under her wing and show them the famous Haley James Scott compassion as we’ve seen in the cases of Quentin and Sam. The intelligence, kindness, and dignified traits we see in Jamie are a reflection of Haley’s nurturing parenting skills. She may be a young mom and that’s what often adds to her popularity, but she also always tries to do what’s best for Jamie, showing a sense of wisdom beyond her years – which makes her all the more cooler and loved my fans.
