A few years ago, on Halloween night, some o my friends and I were having a Halloween party. Right after we got back from trick or treating, we had a scary movie marathon. Friday the 13th (the new one), the Halloween movies, Freddy Vs. Jason, and A Nightmare on Elm st. (the new one). After Nightmare was over, we had soda and candy and pizza the went to bed. Around midnight, I woke up from a horrible dream. Freddy was chasing me and he scratched me when I woke up. I felt something warm on my hand so I turned on the light, and i saw three gashes in my arm, and blood was everywhere. I screamed at the top of my lungs and all of my friends woke up,but when they came over, the gashesand blood were gone, except for the blood on my hand. No one could explain it, so we went back to bed, but I'll never forget that Haloween night.

Introduction

Angel sat in front of the T.V. listing to the news. “Police have notified us that Michael Myers has escaped from Smith’s Grove once more. They have advised us that if we see this man to not approach. He is highly dangerous.”

“Highly dangerous my ass. I lived next door to him and used to be his best friend.” She sighed, “Michael what have you gotten yourself into now?” She looked out her window toward the Myers home. She missed him a lot. Where was the Michael she knew? On her 6th Halloween Michael was taken from her before her very eyes and she cried everyday and prayed...

Update Oct 27, 2009: Hey Fanpoppers, I've updated this list so that all the videos are working again and up-to-date just in time for the Holiday. I've added in some new videos to replace some of the shows I can't find working versions for. So check out some of the new finds below too! Enjoy...

Often cited as the second most popular holiday after Christmas, Halloween can certainly stake claim to being one of the "funnest" of all the holidays. Halloween videos are no exception. The quality and entertainment value of Halloween themed video content out there really is second only to the excellent...

I was working in the lab late one night
When my eyes beheld an eerie sight
For my monster from his slab began to rise
And suddenly to my surprise

He did the mash
He did the monster mash
The monster mash
It was a graveyard smash
He did the mash
It caught on in a flash
He did the mash
He did the monster mash

From my laboratory in the castle east
To the master bedroom where the vampires feast
The ghouls all came from their humble abodes
To get a jolt from my electrodes

They did the mash
They did the monster mash
The monster mash
It was a graveyard...

Why bother to save Halloween?
by Richard Seltzer

Halloween is in trouble. Each year editorials in magazines and newspapers and on television warn of dangers to children. And each year more communities "ban" Halloween.

So what? Who needs it? What is Halloween anyway? It's just an excuse for big kids to make trouble, little kids to eat too much candy, and candy companies to peddle their wares. Bah, goblin-bug!

Or so I thought until, despite all the warnings, I took my three children out last Halloween. Nine-year-old...

This is a Halloween tradition from my husband's family that we started doing with our kids. It is fun for kids and adults alike. It is neat for the childeren to watch the fog from the dry ice pour over the side of the jug. I added a video of what it looks like to the video section if you want to check it out!

What You Need
2 oz of Root Beer concentrate
5 Lbs of Sugar
5 Gallons of Cold Water
15 Lbs of Dry Ice
5 Gallon Jug with a lid

How To Make It

The Babysitter Story

The babysitter story is truly an unforgettable urban legend, often told at slumber parties. The tale has different variations but the spooky and downright terrifying elements remain the same.

As the story goes, a teenage girl is hired by a young couple to baby-sit their two small children. They go out to a dinner party and leave the girl to tend to the kids in a somewhat isolated, large house at the end of the block.

When the hour gets late, she puts the children to bed and sits down to watch some late-night TV. The phone starts ringing and startles the half-asleep teenager....

The idea of a cursed videotape has been in existence for a very long time at my home in New Orleans, LA. It is a different version from both movies, The Ring, and it's Japanese predecessor, Ringu.

I heard the legend of a videotape that will kill you within forty-eight hours after watching it at a bonfire when I was younger. The story behind the legend is that these college girls are having a slumber party and go to rent a video at a local dealer. The girls cannot agree on a film, so one of them asks for help. The clerk states that she has just the thing and disappears into the back room.

Meanwhile,...

This is not an urban legend. It is a true story about a young woman in Bavaria, Germany who was thought to be possessed by evil spirits and went through a grueling exorcism. Sadly, Anneliese Michel (aka: Emily Rose) did not survive and the controversy regarding her exorcism remains to this day.

Anneliese Michel was brought up in a hard-working, faithful catholic family. She was a typical girl who moved to a big city after receiving a scholarship. Not long after starting classes, this 19-year-old college freshman began exhibiting bizarre behavior, typical to those who were thought to be possessed....

The "Killer in the Backseat" story plays on our fears that danger is right under our noses and we are not aware of it. This story was conceived in the late 1960's and has been circulated ever since. Some more recent versions of this story involve gang members out on initiation night, others involve modern gas stations. The story here is in a more traditional form and goes something like this...

On a moonless, foggy night, my friend was sleepy and having trouble driving on the road due to a recent rain. She was getting frustrated because she was running low on gas and there was no sign of civilization...

To me I think Halloween is a time where you can actually be the somebody that you love. U can be scary and horrorfying all you want. It's a time to be full of fear an scares and show what you're really terrified of. I love to dress up as a monster or something scary not girly. I love to be known as the world's most HORROR ADDICTOR terminator person. I dunno. But anyways, Halloween is my top holiday because I like dark and scary things, and weird stuff. And that's the time to see it. most people think that during this time... they think well Halloween night is the devil's birthday and all the spirits come out and do bad things and he causes trouble for us all, SCREW THAT! I don't believe in that, stuff. To me that's complete bull, just to have a reason to not go trick or treating or have fun. Like I said, you should enjoy urself on halloween don't let these stupid legends scare you if you think their not real :)

this article is straight from my website:
Halloween is a holiday that comes every October 31st which is most commonly thought to children as “the day me and my friends go trick-or-treating” but there is more beyond trick-or-treating there is in fact more. The history of Halloween starts as All Hallows Eve when people believed that was the day the spirits rise from the dead. At that time, People would carve turnips into creepy faces to scary away the evil spirits. Costumes were worn to blend in with the evil that is in the air. Back then they took it more seriously they would wear terrifying...

Cold, damp, dark.
and pain.
much pain.
A future of pain.
Pain,
then death.

Blood: thick red liquid of life spills from gaping wounds on her flayed back.

Blood Flows freely onto the rough straw scattered on the dungeon floor.

She tries to stand, but her legs are broken. Instead she falls flat on her stomach, her naked buttocks, untouched, are highlighted by a narrow sunbeam that streaks in through a slit in the wall from behind.

She pleaded her innocence. They tore her flesh from her back with whips. They broke her legs when They tied her down and dropped cannon balls onto her. She still pleaded...

Hi guys, I know that I'm early for Halloween, but what you're going to read are the reasons why the 1999 remake of Shirley Jackson's classic is not worth watching. Secondly, I was inspired by Nostalgia Critic shortly after seeing his review on this disgusting remake!

The Story

While a couple of scenes still remains the same like the original 1963 version, unfortunately it is actually a mockery of the original film. The first scene was partially correct, because Nell had a strained relationship with her sister after their mother's passing. But her brother-in-law is in a contrast with his 1963...
