Shane was evil since he could talk
In Willows motel, Madison told Trish, Richard, Sully, Booth and Jimmy that she has her suspitions about the killer and that only one person could know that Candy got killed with Danny when they only mentioned Danny at the time, and that person is the killer. Also, the same person asked if Ben said anything after being hanged, affraid he'll expose him. And that person is... Shane Pierce.
Maggie awoke tied-up in the woods. There was Shane standing above her. He sharped his knife. She asked him if that's a joke, but he just replied that he is the killer all along and that he enjoys hunting them down. Maggie was completely confused and asked him why. He replied that his mother was a religious freak and that the women he knew were sluts. He told her that it was him all along, both now and back in 2004. He had an affair with Kate Seaver and was ready to give her everything when she decided to return to her ex husband instead. Shane killed her and her friend Sarah and four more people, and then framed John Wakefield who was a perfect patsy. He knew that Sarah's ex lover in hiding in Maggie's hotel and that Sheriff will gladly believe him that it was Wakefield. Maggie was furious, she asked him why did he say that it was a mistake when he killed his mother and he said that he wanted to kill her among last and that it was too soon.
Shane untied Maggie and said that she is free to leave to the hotel to say to others, if she can escape him. He gave her few minutes head start and told her that the next time he sees her, that she's dead. Maggie left as soon as she could. Shane soon followed her. Along the way, Leon came to him and said that some survivors are hiding at the north. Shane got pissed and killed him snapping his neck after he told him that he's the killer.
Soon enough, he came near Maggie who was hiding at the tree knowing she can't escape him. Shane realised where is she and asked if she wants to get down or to continue the game. Maggie was already tired and near heart attack, so she just asked for mercy. Shane said: 'No mercy' and hit her with the rock from down there so she fell. He got above her and stabbed her many times in the chest with a boarding knife until she died. He opened her chest and took her heart, saying that he'll deliver it to John Wakefield.
Madison said to all in the motel that the killer is Shane, but is it smart to reveal that to him, since he might kill them and maybe run/die before revealing the identity of the second killer. Lucy didn't want to believe it was him, while Thomas said that he suspected him all along and that they have to kill him. Abby and Nikki returned to the motel and provided the motive for his killings, an affair with Kate Seaver that went wrong. Jimmy was devastated, while Nikki said that she somehow knew it was him. Abby was shocked to know that Shane killed her mother, but said that at least now they know that Wakefield was innocent and that he should help them. They were also all worried for Cal and Deputy Jackie, who left to look for Chloe and for Maggie who was missing.
Somoene knocked on the door and Hunter peaked and said that it's Maggie, but that she looks kind of dead. Katherine said that they know what he did and Shane knocked out the door and threw in Maggie's body and grabbed Owen and put a blade at his neck. Booth took the gun and aimed at him. Shane admitted all of his crimes, but said to Lucy that he doesn't know who killed Beth. He said that he'll spare Owen if Lucy goes with him. Shea and Trish stopped Lucy from doing so. Shane told her that he loves her and that he won't harm her, since she'll be his wife. Lucy was crying. Nikki said to Shane that he's a scumbag and that he might roth in hell. He said that besides Xatu nobody knows Owen and that he'll make higher stakes. He threw Owen at Booth and grabbed Sully saying that he'll kill him if Lucy doesn't go with him. Sully managed to kick him and Shane escaped. Sully and Booth went after him. Abby went as well after them, saying that she'll bring Wakefield for protection and that they should look after themselves.
Some time later, someone entered the room where Hope was with dead Garrett and tied Louis, Kate and Jeff. Hope was told that she might be in danger too from Shane. That person got furious and killed Kate cutting her head off and giving her head to her husband in arms and her body to her lover.
Soon, Abby got to Sully and Booth who lost Shane. She told them they should get Wakefield to help them. Sully and Booth said that Madison confessed them that JD whispered to her that it was also some Wellington money involved, which made them doubt Wellingtons, especially Thomas, Katherine and Shea. Booth told them that he knows that Thomas was ready to buy city hall to own the island.
After awhile, Henry came to them saying he wants to help find the killer. Soon Jimmy came too and all five of them discussed possible theories. Sully appologised to Abby that he thought she might be the killer for one minute and Abby said that he shouldn't worry, since she also doubted herself. Jimmy brought the option of Hope being Shane's helper, since she appeared out of nowhere in the bachelor party and disappeared afterwards. He told them that she's not local and that she's also not a stripper's member. Booth went to talk to Henry in private. Henry said that he is affraid that the Wellington money might also mean Trish. Booth told him that he's wrong. He also confronted him that he knows that he and Hope were making out when it got dark at the hotel in bachelor party. Henry confessed that he cares for Hope or at least that he did at the time. Booth also asked Henry about his bad relations with Jimmy and Malcolm.
The group soon met John Wakefield who was furious that Maggie got killed and swore that he'll kill Shane. He said that he'll provide them with protection and then find and kill Shane. He was at least glad that his daughter doesn't think that he killed anyone. Jimmy said that since Shane was his best friend, that he won't participate in the hunting group, since he won't really be able to kill him.
In the motel common room there were Xatu, Owen, Trish, JD, Madison, Richard, Ann, Neal, Gertrude and Caroline, waiting for those who were out. Richard first noticed the smell and then they all realised that the house was on fire and the panic arose. Xatu and Owen escaped through the back door. Shea came and asked about her father and Katherine. Trish told her that they might be also running away from the motel, so the others went as well in a hurry.
