Next day people were still very anxious, although Lucy said that maybe today or tomorrow the coast guard should be arriving. Katherine felt better from poisoning and Shea said that she didn't do it. Henry still didn't trust her one bit. Chloe said to Sully that she has a woman's intuition that Chloe isn't the killer. Abby said that their duty is to hunt down Shane and two other killers. Richard said that perhaps at least one of them has finished his task and that he's waiting to be picked-up by the coast guard. Booth said that he doubts that.

Sully heard someone walking in the room upstairs and everyone got scared and got up. Nikki noticed that Shane is probably in the ventilation shaft. Suddenly, he threw the smoke bomb from the ventilation and people panicked and barely managed to get out and hold each other. Madison noticed that Shea and Katherine were missing and shouted to call them, but with no success. Sully and Abby returned to the hotel to catch Shane through the ventilation. Then, someone started to shoot at remaining people outside and they ran at opposite sides. Richard grabbed Madison, Lucy and Gertrude and hid in the nearest bush. Soon, the shootings stopped and Richard started to call Trish. Trish and Booth were also hiding nearby and them six started to look for Shea and the others.

They were running in the forest, looking for Shea and Kathrine. Cal and Hunter came, Hunter being shot at arm on the surface. Cal said that Chloe said that he takes care of him, while she gets to the hotel. Booth gave Madison his talisman Xatu gave him and said that although he doesn't believe in it, that he hopes it will protect her. Booth said that he returns to the hotel to find the others and to kill Shane on sight. He told them to hide in Xatu's shed and wait there. Madison and Richard told him to be careful. They got in and locked in. Gertrude said that god forbid something happens to Shea and that if someone needs to pay for her sins, that it better be her and not Shea. Trish hugged her grandmother and told her it's gonna be all right. Lucy and Gertrude started to pray and everyone else followed them, even Cal, who's not religious at all.

Meanwhile, Nikki and Deputy Jackie were following the trace of a person Nikki was certain was the shooter. At the woods, they saw Henry Dunn, but then lost him. Still, they found the house and it wasn't locked. Nikki and Jackie got inside and saw bunch of corpses, some eaten, some beheaded. Next to what was left of Kate's body, there were Jeff and Louis, both dead and beheaded, with each other's head on another one's body. Nikki and Jackie almost puked. Jackie saw someone sneaking in the back room and warned that she'll shoot. It was Hope and she didn't feel like getting caught.

In the crossfire between Hope and Jackie, Jackie got two bullets in her head. Hope remained without ammunition and Nikki beat her up, before shouting at her to spill out who she is working with. Hope said that she is more worth alive than dead, and that she lest her go. Nikki said that Hope is just someone's pawn anyway and that she isn't worth a shot. When Nikki turned to get help, Hope attacked her with the scissors, but Nikki was faster and scissors got right through Hope's stomach. Nikki told her that if she gets it out, that she'll bleed out to death, so she should remain calm. Suddenly, Nikki saw someone outside from the window and she thought it was Jimmy. Hope used her confusion and kicked her with her legs, but not before Nikki managed to pull out the scissors. Hope shot at Nikki, with her second gun, and missed once and twice, but the third time she hit the target. Behind Nikki, there was an oil canister, and she shot it. The half of the room blew off.

Few minutes after, someone entered the room and it was the killer. He saw Hope dying and dead Nikki and was devastated. Hope died in his arms and he closed her eyes. He got Nikki's and Hope's bodies on the bed and gently put them to rest. He took all the other bodies in the room and roughly threw them into a pile in the middle. He kissed Hope for good bye and set the whole room on fire. It was painful watching the whole house with all those lives in it just gone in flames.
