Note: I didn't make up any of these. I found them online. Sorry if you're not a Hermione/Ron fan.

9-year-old Hermione reads Matilda, a book about a smart girl who can move things with her mind. Hermione goes over to the bookshelf and, concentrating very hard, she gets the books to slowly move.

Hermione found Ron's copy of of 12 Nail-Safe Ways to Charm Witches and wrote little notes in the margins for him to find.

In the sixth movie when Ron mutters "Hermione" in his sleep and causes Lavender to break up with him, he was actually awake. He felt guilty about making Hermione feel bad because of his relationship with Lavender. He also wanted to break up with Lavender and tell Hermione how he really felt. He just didn't have the guts to confront her, so he talked in his sleep to her instead.

On her birthday, Ron gave Hermione a ring which served as a miniature Pensieve. Inside of it were many of the great memories they shared together, so that Hermione would be able to look at these forever. The ring was also known as her engagement ring.

It’s no secret that Hermione Granger is basically our patronus. The girl, she does not miss.

42.Pleasure.”
that’s how you make a memorable first impression.

41.“Right. Perspective.”
she would be thinking about Harry’s birthday cake instead of the gobs of deatheaters who tried to kill them all just now. Of course she would.

40.“You! You foul, loathsome, evil little cockroach!” ’Cause that’s exactly the kind of intelligent insult you throw down right before you punch a guy like Malfoy in the nose.

39.“Awful things happen to wizards who’ve meddled with time.”

38.“Charming, Ronald.”

37.“You know, the Egyptians used to worship cats.”
To be fair, Ron’s comeback about the dung beetles was equally on point.

36.“I’ll have a cappuccino.”
As with virtually everything else, Hermione knows just what to do when a trio of undercover wizards suddenly find themselves in a muggley scenario. Because Hermione.

J.K. Rowling Says Hermione Should Have Ended Up With Harry Potter, Not Ron

Well, everything you thought you knew about love is a lie. Turns out J.K. Rowling thinks she made a huge mistake by pairing Hermione Granger and Ron Weasley in the Harry Potter novels. Hermione really should have married Harry, the author said in an interview for the issue of Wonderland magazine, guest-edited by Emma Watson.
Here’s what Rowling said,
“I wrote the Hermione/Ron relationship as a form of wish fulfillment,” she says. “That’s how it was conceived, really. For reasons that have very little to do with literature and far more to do with me clinging to the plot as I first imagined it, Hermione ended up with Ron.”
Rowling said she knew this admission would upset many Harry Potter diehards, and offered the apology:

“I know, I’m sorry,” she continued, “I can hear the rage and fury it might cause some fans, but if I’m absolutely honest, distance has given me perspective on that. It was a choice I made for very personal reasons, not for reasons of credibility.

1.Hermione’s middle name is supposed to be Jane, in memory of Caroline’s grandmother. However, the clerk at the hospital taking the necessary information for the forms misspells the name. Jean is a perfectly decent name, so it isn’t worth the fuss and trouble to have it corrected.

2Hermione loves books from an early age. Unfortunately, she doesn’t read them so much as enjoy looking at the pictures or studying the words. She hears her parents discussing the fact that she’s not reading yet when she’s five, and, by the time she turns seven, they’re more concerned. She wants to read, because books and words fascinate her, but there’s something in her brain that just won’t let her.

3.She’s only kissed two boys and had one try to steal a kiss. Her first kiss was with Viktor and it was a sweet kiss after the Yule Ball. Her second was also with Viktor, though it was more intense, right before he asked her to visit him that summer. McLaggen tried to steal a kiss during Slughorn’s Christmas party, but she threatened to render a part of his anatomy useless, so he stopped his attempts. Her third kiss is with Ron during the heat of battle. She...

Hermionicole better known as Trish was probably my best friend here on fanpop, she was genuine and kind and sweet and just over all a great person! But we lost her way to soon! She had just graduated school and she was gonna conquer the world! She always came to me for advice and I always tried giving her the best advice a best friend could give! She was so zealous! And eager yet scared and so unsure of herself! She was quite timid and shy but deep down inside I know there was a fire cracker waiting to explode! She was a great person to just sit and talk to because she was never negative, she would always make you feel like you were the most important person in the room! And she always put a smile on my face! The few short months I was gifted to know her I will cherish forever!!! We loved you Trish, and even though you aren't here any more you will forever be loved! Thank you so much for being my friend!

I'm quite sad that some devoted people are losing their love for Hermione.
Where are you guys? What are you doing?
The Harry Potter series has sort of ended and we ought to keep the characters alive... Most especially Hermione Jean Granger...
They have fought bravely and it is our duty to remember them...
Hermione risked her neck loads of times for the good of other people.
Without her... the whole wizarding world would have been horrible, terrible! She's got the real sense of bravery; courage, common sense, love, wisdom or intellect, devotion and passion... She is dedicated. And I dedicate myself to her...
LONG LIVE HERMIONE JEAN GRANGER!!!

Hermione Jean Weasley ( b. 19 September, 1979) was the daughter of Muggles Mr. and Mrs. Granger, both dentists in Muggle London. At age eleven, Hermione learned that she was a witch and had been accepted into Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. She began attending the school on 1 September, 1991 where she was subsequently sorted into Gryffindor House. She possessed a brilliant academic mind and proved to be a gifted student. She is very studious and bookish. She was one of the few people who was less intimidated by calling Lord Voldemort by his name like Harry, instead of calling him You-Know-Who like many others.

Hermione first met Harry Potter and Ron Weasley aboard the Hogwarts Express. Both boys found Hermione unfriendly and a know-it-all. Later her eagerness to please her professors and her constantly correct answers reinforced their initial impression. However, in spite of the cool relationship between the three, Hermione stepped in to take the blame from Ron and Harry after they had saved her from a troll on Halloween. Harry and Ron were surprised but grateful, and the three quickly became friends. In her second year, Hermione fell victim to a basilisk...

After the Battle of Hogwarts, I had a change of lifestyle. I wasn't that know it all, snobby chick anymore, I was a totally new person. I told Harry and Ron I was finishing my 7th year. They didn't really care. Harry was working as an Auror and I didn't even know what Ron was doing. It was all different. Strangely different. Fred Weasley was dead, so was Lupin and Tonks. Every day I thought of them, crying about 15 minutes of every hour, summing up to about 360 minutes a day! I couldn't even speak a word about Fred around Ron because he will start crying. I could only talk to Harry about the deaths of Tonks, Lupin, and Fred. After thinking about this for about 15 minutes, I realized I was late for class.
"Oh no!" I said to myself, running down the hall. I ran past Nearly Headless Nick, which I never see around anymore. I finally arrived at Charms Class.
"You are late, Granger," a voice said. I walked in and found my seat. Professor Flitwick wasn't there anymore. It was a new Professor. The new Professor was tall and skinny, with hair longer than Luna's.

"And it's supposed to smell differently to each of us, according to what attracts us, and I can smell freshly mowed grass and new parchment and..."
—Hermione possibly realising her feelings towards Ron whilst smelling the Love Potion

Hermione achieved high academic prestige when she obtained ten O.W.L.s, in Charms, Defence Against the Dark Arts, Transfiguration, Care of Magical Creatures, Arithmancy, History of Magic, Herbology, Astronomy, Potions, and Ancient Runes. She received 'Outstanding' marks on each of them, except Defence Against the Dark Arts, in which she received an 'Exceeds Expectations,' which she dwelt upon; Ron found it amusing that she actually seemed disappointed by this.

By the time they arrived in Hogwarts, Hermione's romantic feelings for Ron had become obvious, and she was upset when he and Lavender started flirting. Hermione and Ron's relationship suffered greatly in their sixth year, when Ron became envious of both Hermione and Harry, who were invited to be members of the Slug Club, a group of students favoured by Potions professor Horace Slughorn, while he was ignored. He was mollified when Hermione revealed that...

Ron: "Seamus reckons that Harry's lying about You-Know-Who."
Hermione: "Yes, Lavender thinks so too..."
Harry: "Been having a nice little chat with her about whether or not I'm a lying, attention-seeking prat, have you?"
Hermione: "No, I told her to keep her big fat mouth shut about you, actually. And it would be quite nice if you stopped jumping down Ron and my throats, Harry, because if you haven't noticed, we're on your side."
— Hermione, Harry, and Ron talking about forming the D.A.

Following the death of Cedric Diggory, the Ministry of Magic refused to accept Harry and Dumbledore's claims that Lord Voldemort had returned, and the Daily Prophet labelled them either liars or nutters. However, Hermione and Ron believed Harry and defended him against the criticism of doubtful classmates. Though occasionally Harry vented his frustration at them, Hermione and Ron stuck by him. They also wanted to become members of the reconvened Order of the Phoenix but were not allowed to because they were under-age. Hermione helped exterminate 12 Grimmauld Place, which served as headquarters for the Order, and was immensely relieved...

"You know, house-elves get a very raw deal! It's slavery, that's what it is! That Mr. Crouch made her go up to the top of the stadium, and she was terrified, and he's got her bewitched so she can't even run when they start trampling tents! Why doesn't anyone do something about it?"
—Hermione begins her campaign for the better treatment of house-elves

Before her fourth year at Hogwarts, Hermione spent much of the summer holidays at the Burrow with Harry and Ron, sharing a room with Ginny Weasley. With the other Weasleys, they attended the 1994 Quidditch World Cup in August. After the game, the communal camp-site was set upon by Death Eaters. Hermione, Harry, and Ron fled into the woods and witnessed the casting of Morsmordre. Initially caught up in the chaos surrounding the effort to catch the caster, she took exception to the accusations levelled against Harry, and the many wizards' treatment of the house-elf Winky who had also been at the scene.
Once at Hogwarts, Hermione began a crusade for the liberation of house-elves by beginning the Society for the Promotion of Elfish Welfare, or what she and the group called S.P.E.W, (or as Ronald Weasley...

"P-P-Professor McGonagall! Sh-she said I'd failed everything!"
—Hermione faces her Boggart

Just before she began the 1993-1994 school year, while visiting Diagon Alley with Harry and the Weasley family, Hermione met and adopted a part-Kneazle cat named Crookshanks from the Magical Menagerie. However, her new bond with her cat caused friction with Ron and his pet rat Scabbers, as Crookshanks was always trying to catch the rat. Also at the beginning of this school year, Hermione obtained a Time-Turner from Professor McGonagall so she could double up on classes, though this was kept secret.

When Harry received a Firebolt for Christmas with no note, Hermione reported it to Professor McGonagall, thinking it was sent by Sirius Black, whom everyone believed to be a dangerous murderer who was after Harry. His broom was taken away to be inspected, which caused a temporary rift between the two friends. There was further social strain for Hermione when Ron accused Crookshanks of eating Scabbers, who had disappeared. Hermione poured herself into defending Buckbeak, the hippogriff on trial before the Committee for the Disposal of Dangerous Creatures...

"And they haven't invented a spell that our Hermione can't do."
—Rubeus Hagrid

Before she started her second year, Hermione wrote several letters to Harry, all of which were intercepted by Dobby, as the house-elf wanted Harry to believe that his friends had forgotten him in order to prevent his return to Hogwarts. She and her parents also accompanied Harry and the Weasley family to Diagon Alley to shop for school supplies.

It was during her second school year that Hermione first encountered the prejudice and hatred surrounding her blood status, when Draco Malfoy called her a "filthy little Mudblood" after she told him off for insulting the Gryffindor Quidditch team. Hermione had never heard the highly offensive term before, but others present had and lashed out at Draco. Fred and George Weasley lunged at him, and Ron even tried to hex him, but it backfired, as his wand had been damaged. To help Hermione feel better about the incident, Hagrid urged her not to think about it, pointing out that she was a talented witch, regardless of what bigoted people said about her Muggle-born status.

Terry Boot: "How come you're not in Ravenclaw? With brains like yours?"
Hermione: "Well, the Sorting Hat did seriously consider putting me in Ravenclaw during my Sorting, but it decided on Gryffindor in the end."

Hermione enjoyed her years as a pupil at Hogwarts, and took assignments, classes, and school rules very seriously. Her favourite subject was initially Charms, and later Arithmancy, and the only areas of study that gave her trouble were Flying and Divination. Some students, such as Terry Boot, wondered why Hermione was sorted into Gryffindor house rather than Ravenclaw, given her keen mind. Hermione admitted that the Sorting Hat did consider putting her in Ravenclaw. Being sorted into Gryffindor, Hermione would share a dormitory with Lavender Brown, Parvati Patil, Fay Dunbar and another girl.

But she proved her rightful place in Gryffindor with her steadfast bravery and loyalty to her friends, Hogwarts, and Dumbledore's Army. It is likely that the Sorting Hat put her in Gryffindor in the first place, because she chose to be in it, just like Harry chose to not be in Slytherin; on the train, she mentions that, "Gryffindor...sounds by far...

Biography
Early life

Not much is known about Hermione's life before she entered the wizarding world. She was the only child of Muggle parents, Mr. and Mrs. Granger, both dentists in London. Mr. and Mrs. Granger were seen as "quite ordinary" and although they were "a bit bemused" by the oddities displayed by their daughter, they were known to be proud of her.

In the summer of 1991, Hermione was surprised to learn that she was a witch and was invited to attend Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. She eagerly accepted and took to studying magic even before she began her first year at Hogwarts in the September of 1991 -- learning all the set spell books by heart and even managing to perform "a few spells" successfully. In addition to the texts set by the school, Hermione brought with her several other books for reference and to further her understanding of the wizarding world.

Hi!
Below I will sum up the whole of Hermione, all in a bit of text! I hope you enjoy it!

Resourceful and brilliant, Hermione is easily the brightest witch in the whole of the Harry Potter world! She, along with Ron Weasley, is one of Harry Potter’s closest friends. She is also Muggle-born (her parents were dentists!)

Hermione prefers subjects like runes and history to subjects like divination. When she was new to Hogwarts she was very bossy but willing to learn so she took comfort in things like rules and book-learning; as she became more confident in magic and more comfortable in the Wizarding world, she relaxed – a bit!

Hermione has a brilliant mind. She has memorized many, many spells and can find her way through difficult situations that other people can't!

Through the years she learnt more and more complicated spells, and even spent one school year doing two classes at once using a time-turner, but finally gave up as it was too exausting!

Hey, Hermione Fans!
Today I have decided to put in some funny, well - known Hermione quotes from the harry potter films!

--------------------------------------------------
Hermione: Now if you two don't mind, I'm going to bed before either of you come up with another clever idea to get us killed - or worse, expelled.

Ron: She needs to sort out her priorities!
--------------------------------------------------
Hermione: Stop moving, both of you. This is devil's snare! You have to relax. If you don't, it'll only kill you faster!

Ron: Kill us faster? Oh, now I can relax!
--------------------------------------------------
Hermione: Harry, no way! You heard what Madam Hooch said. Besides, you don't even know how to fly!

[Harry ignores Hermione and he flies up]

Hermione: What an idiot!
--------------------------------------------------
Hermione: Neville, I'm really, really sorry about this.

In a moment of nostalgia I started reading up on Hermione once again and found out, that there were so many triviums I hadn’t included in my first article about Hermione, so I decided to write another one. So perhaps you’ll learn something new, or perhaps you’ll just be reminded of how awesome Hermione is.

- J.K. Rowling got Hermione’s name from the Shakespeare play The Winter’s Tale. She wanted it to be a special name so that not mane girls would be teased for shearing a name with the bossy now-it-all.
- Hermione is also a name from the Greek mythology. She was the daughter of King Menelaus and Helen of Troy and therefore a princess of Sparta.
- J.K. has stated that Hermione was loosely based on herself, though quite exaggerated.
- Emma Watson, who played Hermione in the movies, was one of the 14 actors who stayed on for all 8 movies.
- In the books Hermione is described as having large front teeth. This was however never portrayed in the movies. Chris Columbus, director of the first Harry Potter movie has said that they tried giving Emma Watson fake teeth to wear, but that it didn’t work out. They filmed the last scene of...

Funny Excerpts from the First Book

"So light a fire!" Harry choked.
"Yes...of course...but there's no wood!" Hermione cried, wringing her hands.
"HAVE YOU GONE MAD!" Ron bellowed. "ARE YOU A WITCH OR NOT!
-----------------------
"So you mean the Stone's only safe as long as Quirrell stands up to Snape?" said Hermione in alarm.
"It'll be gone by next Tuesday," said Ron.
-----------------------
Speaking quietly so that no one else would hear, Harry told the other two about Snape's sudden, sinister desire to be a Quidditch referee.
"Don't play," said Hermione at once.
"Say you're ill," said Ron.
"Pretend to break your leg," Hermione suggested.
"Really break your leg," said Ron.
------------------------
See?" said Hermione, when Harry and Ron had finished. "The dog must be guarding Flamel's Sorcerer's Stone! I bet he asked Dumbledore to keep it safe for him, because they're friends and he knew someone was after it, that's why he wanted the Stone moved out of Gringotts!"

Hermione Jean Granger is a fictional character in the Harry Potter book series written by J. K. Rowling. The character is portrayed by Emma Watson in the Harry Potter film series.

Hermione is a Gryffindor student at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry and is Harry Potter's and Ron Weasley's best friend. She shows considerable academic prowess when compared to her close friends and classmates.

Background
Hermione Granger is a Muggle-born witch. Her parents, both dentists, are (according to Rowling) "a bit bemused by their odd daughter, but quite proud of her all the same". When asked in 2004 if Hermione was an only child, Rowling replied, "I always planned that Hermione would have a younger sister but she's never made an appearance and somehow it feels like it might be too late now." Therefore, it is considered canon that Hermione is an only child. This is reinforced in the seventh book, where Hermione, to prevent her parents from being hunted by Voldemort, alters their memories, causing them to move to Australia and (quite specifically) forget that they have a daughter. No other children are mentioned. Following Voldemort's ultimate defeat,...

You might know some of these things, but maybe there is also new stuff to be learned. This list includes both facts about Hermione from the books and the movie adaption of her.

- After the Second Wizarding War, Hermione returned to Hogwarts to attain her N.E.W.T.'s. She was the only one of the trio to do this.
- She is the Godmother of Harry and Ginny Potter's oldest child, James Potter.
- When she had gotten her N.E.W.T.'s, Hermione began work for the Ministry of Magic. She started in the Department for the Regulation and Control of Magical Creatures, where she continued her work with S.P.E.W. Later on she attains a high position in the Department of Magical Law Enforcement, eradicating the old laws biased in favor of pure-bloods.
- At some point Hermione was featured on a Chocolate Frog Card for her accomplishments.
- She translated Tales of Beedle the Bard from the original, which was written in runes. When her translation was published, the book included notes on every fairytale by Albus Dumbledor. These notes were lent to Hermione by her former teacher, Minerva McGonagall.
