OK, so I haven't seen S5 yet (and please don't spoil it for me!) so there obviously won't be anything concerning those epis written here apart from maybe things from a few spoilery vids etc. So basically, it's still S4 based-ish.
Anyway, enjoy! =]

When House woke up to find Cuddy holding his hand he felt an overwhelming sense of relief. All because he knew that someone was there beside him, someone cares for him deeply, someone hasn't just turned their back on him, like so many others have. He felt her concern for him by the way she held his hand and curled up in the chair beside his bed, relaxed in his presence, natural, beautiful.

A few days later he could finally leave his bed-ridden state and resume back to normal life. Although it wasn't really normal, and it probably never will be. He had 'crossed the line' this time and he could understand why Wilson wouldn't forgive him, if ever. He secretly blamed himself for Amber's death, his best friend's sadness, but he never let it show. He just tried to get on with life the best he could knowing that there was only one person keeping him going through all of this pain he felt. That one person was no doubt Cuddy.

One day though, things changed. Cuddy was, as usual, working late and normally House would go pester Wilson about his sex life or follow him on a date, but he had gone, turned his back on him. The man who cared too much turned his back on the man who never seemed to care at all. So instead he stayed at the hospital a little longer and decided on teasing Cuddy a bit. When he walked into her office to find her sleeping uncomfortably on her couch, he smiled to himself, then was suddenly shocked by the sudden jump his heart made when she stirred. Was he having a heart attack or was he in love with her? No, neither, he thought and just pushed aside the shock of his pounding heart. He noticed her shivering slightly and pulled the blanket up over her shoulders. He went to turn around, heading for the door when he felt that sudden jump of his heart again. And again. And again. And...

Cuddy woke up with a smile on her face at the familiar smell of House. She knew he was there, that he was the one who wanted to make sure she was nice and warm on that cold New Jersey night. She stretched and yawned before sitting up and putting her heels on when she noticed some sort of lumpy liquid. She couldn't tell what it was because her eyes were still sleepy. When they finally adjusted she realised that there was a puddle of vomit on her office floor, and lying a couple of inches away from it an unconscious House.

'Oh shit! HOUSE!'

She almost screamed with fear, knowing that she had been sleeping for many hours and therefore that House had been unconscious for about that amount of time. She knew this wasn't good. She ran out of her office in a hysterical mess and shouted at the top of her lungs.

'I need someone in here NOW!! Hurry, he's had a heart attack and he's blacked out!'

Many worried doctors and nurses assembled in the lobby staring at her in disbelief, not really registering whatever she was trying to say.

'Well don't just stand there!!'

A few backed away with shock at the tone of her voice and others hurried into her office only to find out for themselves exactly what she was screaming about. He was rushed onto a gurney and into ICU where Cuddy's unknown fears were confirmed. House had slipped into a coma and the chances of him coming out of it alive were slim.

She phoned Wilson as soon as she recollected herself and told him she needed to talk to him right this minute. He reluctantly obliged, not wanting to bump into House, unaware of House's fate. Cuddy tried so hard to seem normal on the phone that Wilson couldn't even detect a hint of sadness in her voice. Nothing. She just seemed like his former boss, with the same authoritative tone she used on employees she wasn't too close with.

He arrived within an hour at the hospital, with various glances from nurses. It could have been because Wilson had walked into the hospital dressed casually in jeans and a loose shirt for the first time, or simply because he was James Wilson. Perhaps a bit of both. He ignored the glances and headed straight for Cuddy's office. He turned on the handle and gently entered her office, swiftly closing the door behind him, to find her pacing around her office nervously. She looked up at him and sighed with relief when she saw his familiar face. She walked up to him and hugged him.

'Oh, James, thank god you're here!'

'Lisa...?'

He was understandably confused as she broke down in tears knowing her vulnerability won't scare Wilson, having seen her distressed before. When she recollected herself once more she sat him down on the couch and explained everything that was happening with House and how slim his chances of survival are.

'James, I know you still care about him, he's your best friend for god's sake! If he does wake up, I want you to be there for him. Don't let this friendship go, not now James, not now. He misses you and he needs his best friend back. He's not the same without you here. And also, I need a break from him every once in a while, you know!'

She thought throwing the slight joke in to her serious one-way conversation would lighten the sullen atmosphere, but to no avail as Wilson had not heard that last sentence, still trying to register what Cuddy had just told him. Without another word, he ran out of her office and rushed to ICU and into House's room. He found him there in the same room Amber was in, hooked up to several machines. Flashbacks of Amber and her last moments appeared in front of his eyes as tears threatened to fall. When he saw House twitch slightly, he let those tears fall freely. Cuddy was behind him now, and she placed a reassuring hand on his shoulder.

They sat beside House's bed hoping he'd wake up and everything would resume back to normal again. They were sat there for hours and hours and neither of them moved even though they were hungry and thirsty and desperate need of a shower. Then they saw House's eyes open, clearly trying to focus on the two blurred figures sitting by him. When he saw Wilson and Cuddy sitting there, he let a single tear fall down his face. They smiled at him reassuringly, both of them happy that House will be alright. He took a deep breath and closed his eyes again. Then his heart rate decreased rapidly until....until he died.

Both Wilson and Cuddy looked at the monitor in shock whilst some oter doctors rushed in to try and resuscitate him, but his stubborn heart just wouldn't start again. They called it and walked away in anger. Cuddy couldn't hold her balance any longer and had to rely on Wilson to catch her. Neither of them could believe it. He was gone forever. Both of them were full of regret never being able to tell House how they really felt about him.

A few hours later, they sat in House's office, letting their feelings loose.

'James, don't beat yourself up about it, he knew you cared for him. He knew you still thought of him as your best friend.'

'And what about you, Lisa? Do you know that he loved you, and that he knew you loved him equally as much?'

Cuddy let her tears fall again as Wilson comforted her as best he could.

The only question was: could they find solace in each other?

Disclaimer: Thank god I don't own House MD, or the show would go to pots with all of my crappy little stories!
Notes: An AU OT3 story based on loss. I would just like to add that I don't have a beta-reader so all the mistakes are my own, and I'm sorry if anything in my story offends anyone. This was just a quick little thing I wrote so please don't be too harsh ;)

Stepping into the small space between the clinic and her office, Cuddy glanced over at the empty desk to her right. Karen, her latest assistant, had bitten the dust last week, so there was no one to occupy the seat. In her 8 years as dean of medicine for PPHT, she had been through a half dozen personal assistances, which most administrators would consider an extremely high turnover rate, but then again most people didn’t have someone like Greg House working for them either. All but one of her past employees had quit more or less because of him. He pushed them, played pranks on them, taunted...

Chapter 6: Making Amends
“Cuddy, can we talk?”
“Yes, what is it House?”
“I was wondering if you would want to go out with me tonight? On a date.”
“I uhh well it has been a busy day plus Thirteen but yeah that would be nice. Where should we go?”
“How about the new Mexican restaurant on 15th street? I’ve heard it is very good and they have live music there as well, you know you want to see me salsa!”
“You salsa? That’s interesting! Mexican food sounds good it’s a date.”
“Cool I’ll pick you up around seven then.”
“Okay I’ll be ready.”
Seven o’clock rolled around...

Roboter – Revolverheld Cuddy

Another day was over. And nothing had changed. It didn't seem as if things would change soon or at anytime.
Sometimes Cuddy wondered if her life had become what she had ever feared it to become: boring and predictable. Maybe she had become boring and predictable too.

Everyday was the same: She got...

Next morning she wakes up early, has her shower and breakfast and sends a message to Lucas to go to have dinner with him tonight. She waits until House gets to her home. He is there on time and when Cuddy goes out, he gives her the helmet. ‘Hey...’
‘Thanks for coming...’ Says Lisa.
‘It's nothing...’
About twenty minutes later they get to the hospital. ‘Thanks again.’ Says her giving him the helmet. He nods.
‘You want me to take you later to my home? I mean... so you can call someone to fix your car...’
‘If it's not too much trouble...’
‘It's okay... come to my office when...

They arrive to the hotel without saying a word, go to their room and lock the door.
‘You’re not gonna say anything? You know, something like:’ Cuddy imitates House’s tone. ‘Yeah, nice guy, you choose your boyfriends very well...’
House looks at her serious and without saying anything goes to the bathroom and close the door. Cuddy gets angry. ‘Hey, do not ignore me!’
House wets his faces and sits on the floor while Cuddy is shouting and knocking at the door. ‘Can you tell me what the hell was that? Can't behave as an adult once in your life?’ House takes a vicodin pill and looks...

Author’s Note: Please don’t make fun of the detective’s name. I put it in there for a valid reason that I will explain in a little challenge I’m going to put in a later chapter.
Murder in the Clinic
Chapter 3: Inspections

As he drove into work the next day, House couldn’t help but notice how cramped Princeton Plainsborough’s parking lot was. News vans and police cars were scattered over the property, and House was particularly thankful for having a reserved spot. Despite this luxury however, a few unfortunate members of the staff seemed to have lost their places...

Taking deep breath, House reached into his jacket pocket and grabbed the familiar orange perception bottle from its depths. Giving it a shake, he listened to the hollow sound of pills hitting plastic, as he stared at the short list of symptoms on the dry erase board in the corner.

Chewing his bottom lip for a moment, he turned each piece of his most recent puzzle over in his mind. “Tularemia…no…no she has a mild rash not an ulcer,” he said making a suggestion for his new patients illness then dismissing it.

Mindlessly he flipped off the cap of the medicine bottle and shook out two small...

"House, what are you doing?" A familiar voice ricocheted through his ears, and a slight taste of disgust coursed through his body. "Clinic duty. Now. Seriously, you thought you could run away?" It was Cuddy, and she was dressed quite beautifully this day. A red sweater was wrapped around her perfect body, a rather adorable snowman pin sat snuggly on it. Her skirt was white and matched with her legs, smooth and quite the jaw dropper. House tilted his head, catching all the angles that was Dr.Cuddy.
"House. Stop staring at my legs and get back to work."

Rain dripped solemnly down glass that wore a name, a scent, an autograph of the man inside them... House's blue gems peered out into the grey of autumn as a heavy sigh mimicked the winds.

His mind shot past images of worn fields, snow-covered backyards, strictly shielded army bases, books and essays, A's unnoticed, F's highlighted, punishments and birthday wishes... He started thinking about his life.

Yes, he saw Cuddy in college, Wilson in jail... Stacy in tears.

He saw a whole leg, a half one, he saw his own fear of having no leg at all somewhere in there too... that fear still lingered, he...

Sequel to The Surprise so if you haven't read that read it first! =]

When Thirteen had gone home after talking to Cuddy that day, she reminisced over that passionate night she had with Wilson and Kutner a few weeks ago. She was very drunk but she remembered everything. The way they touched her, the way they smell, the way they felt inside her. She also remembered who was just that little bit better. Wilson. She should have known it; he was slightly older, more experienced than Kutner could have been, and she knew that; it was part of what made her want him more.

She knew she had to tell one...

Somehow I am very inspired today XD. Actually I have a bunch of stuff to do that has nothing to do with House, Huddy or Cuddy. (Physics and history *coughs*) Nevertheless I wrote this oneshot and I hope you like it. It is set after Joy.

The room was filled with silence.
Except of the brawl of the water that was coming out of the shower head and the silent, halting sobbing next to it. And there on the floor was a squatted figure who had wrapped its arms around its knees and was rocking back and forth in a slow rhythm.

The figure lifted its head...

Lol Now I'm addicted. I'm sure by now you've all heard about how House MD is in fact a modernized version of Sherlock Holmes, or at the very least based on it. So I thought it would be an interesting idea to base a fanfic off of it. I wrote this a long time ago, and I'm still not sure if I will continue, have to be smart enough to come up with twists and turns for a Holmes mystery. Well I hope you like it, comments and critiscm are welcome :)

Throughout the many years of working together, never have I enjoyed such a case that had been brought to our attention at 221 Princeton Street as the one...

Chapter 5: Halloween

All in all, it has been a very stressful couple of weeks for Tom Wiltzer ever since he broke into The Mad Doctor’s apartment. If all went to plan, he and Pat probably would have had a grand tale to tell to every kid on Baker St. Well, they still probably have quite the tale to tell but Tom just wasn’t as enthusiastic about it as Patrick happened to be. To Pat, it was a heroic story of escapade that put him league with his older brother, Jack. To Tom however, it was a topic he wasn’t too comfortable discussing, mainly because he felt that it was...

Thirteen woke up one day and headed straight for the bathroom to throw up. She wasn't even hungover or anything, and she went through all the possibilities.

She cursed herself when she looked at the time knowing she was going to be late. Again. She rushed out the door and ran back in realising she still had to get changed for work. Again she cursed herself and ran out the door to the hospital as quickly as she could.

She walked into House's room and all the talking stopped and all eyes were on her. Four grown men staring at her in silence. What were they thinking? She caught Kutner's eye as...

House was sitting on Cuddy's couch drinking a glass of scotch. He was waiting for Cuddy. She came out from Rachel's room and closed the door quietly. She wanted to tuck her in when they made it back to her house. She walked over by House and sat on the opposite side of the couch staring at him.
"Is my drinking seducing you?"
"Yes, why wouldn't it?"
He finished off the last of the scotch in his glass and then they both put their feet up on the couch overlapping...

“So what’s your point?” he looked at her suspiciously.

“And what’s yours?”
